La Flor de Tamarindo – A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering!

La Flor de Tamarindo is hands down one of my favorite places to eat. It’s the kind of spot you stumble upon once and can’t stop coming back to. It’s a true hidden gem that deserves all the praise it gets.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve tried many of the dishes mentioned in other reviews — the Cuban breakfast, French toast, omelettes, homemade fried potatoes — and every single one has been spot on. The portions are generous, the flavors are rich and satisfying, and everything tastes homemade in the best possible way.

And let’s talk about the coffee — whether it's a smooth café con leche or a bold Cuban espresso, the drinks here are just as memorable as the food. Perfectly balanced and packed with flavor, they pair beautifully with any breakfast or midday bite.

The staff is another highlight. Friendly, polite, and always welcoming, they make the whole dining experience warm and enjoyable. You feel like a valued guest every time you walk through the door.

Very nice place inside the gad station. The opening at 6am and make great coffee! A hidden gem. I lived in the area for a while before I found this place! Great staff and lots of variety of food!

A little gem in the middle of a Marathon gas station! Second time trying them and my breakfast was still good! Their coffee con léché is So Good! The waitress is always pleasant and polite, and doesn't add pressure when I order.

I went there for breakfast. The cashier was very nice and the food was good. I liked the fact I didn't need any salt and pepper to put on the eggs. The maracuya juice and the coffee were perfect. I would definitely go back.

This is a little hidden gem inside a gas station, they have great breakfast and lunches. I often order their lunch specials which taste home made and are a good portion

We came here unplanned on our way to Costco and we had a great breakfast. The coffees are large and full of flavor and the breakfast plates… are to die for. Highly recommend getting anything with the French toast. The presentation and service is also top tier. I would definitely come back! Don’t be frightened by the fact that it’s inside a gas station. Trust me!
