I had a taste for a good Cuban steak sandwich, and I stumbled up on this restaurant about 5 minutes from my home. The steak sandwich was soooo tasty. I'm not exaggerating for me this is the best sandwich I've eaten. Seasoned so good and fresh veggies. The lady that took my order and served me she was very patient, welcoming and nice.

The amount of 1 stars i read from this place is disgusting. The fact that they have a complete different system in person than what you see in Google is terrible. I came here to get a coffee and have a look and they close the doors many hours before than the closing stated on google maps. I would never come back here for anything. This is not a Cuban place, trust me.

La Guajira Cafeteria is one of those hidden gems that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. From the warm welcome at the counter to the delicious aroma of Cuban coffee filling the air, every detail reflects authentic hospitality and tradition. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile, which makes every visit feel personal.

The menu is full of classic Cuban dishes, perfectly seasoned and served with generous portions. The café con leche is rich and smooth, and their pastelitos and croquetas are always fresh and full of flavor. Breakfasts are hearty, and lunch options are equally impressive—whether you choose a Cuban sandwich, arroz con pollo, or one of their daily specials, you can count on consistent quality and taste.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy a casual meal with friends and family. Prices are reasonable, and the value you get for the quality of food and service is unmatched.

La Guajira Cafeteria is more than just a place to eat; it’s a place where culture, flavor, and community come together. A true Pembroke Pines favorite that never disappoints!

True Cuban restaurant, very family oriented, I only speak a little Spanish but they speak English as well and we're very polite and friendly, had a cortadito and beef empanadas, both very delicious the empanadas were crispy and flaky, not overly greasy and very flavorful

This is my go to restaurant when I’m not cooking to feel like it’s my home cooking for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. The food always tastes fresh, well seasoned and way too affordable. They should raise prices to ensure they stay in business. I LOVE! I LOVE! 5 STARS

Very bad service, very bad food. He never left a bad review in the places but here it is terrible. The Spaghetti looked like plastic. Old.

Simple cafe but they have a good Cuban sandwich. The only thing is that the mamey shake lacked flavor.
