Speechless! The service was spectacular from the person who greeted me. I don't remember the name but the manager has short hair. I think it was “excellent.” The waiters all gave us spectacular attention, the food was divine, we celebrated my birthday there and I don't regret it! Thank you and I loved all the dishes ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely fell in love with this place. Our server was Carlito, highly recommend that you ask for him. It was my husband’s birthday and he made everything extra special. Kept coming by to make sure we were satisfied with the service, food, drinks, desserts everything overall. Everything he recommended was delish. The chef truly has magic in the kitchen. The drinks were delish. My husband is a big bourbon kind of guy and they were perfect. I kept asking Carlito to surprise me with drinks, they were all delish. The manager was super kind. Definitely will be going back.

Don't waste your time or money.Apart from waiting an over hour before getting our food, we were quite disappointed with the food and experience over all.The atmosphere and decorations are nice, the staff were kind. It was fairly empty for being Sunday Lunchtime, only 2 other tables had people besides us, so we thought it'd be quick service... that was far from the truth. Between the time we ordered and time we got food was well over an hour. The bruschetta was good, cute garnish, but nothing amazing. Honestly i would have preferred the garnish on top because then the bread sat in the balsamic and made the bread soggy.I ordered the Carbonara and she ordered the Branzino. They finally came. The branzino was good, cooked well and good sauce. The carbonara on the other hand... atrocious. Tasted like cream mixed with Kirkland sprinkle parm and some burnt bacon to top it off. I cook more than the average joe, but the average joe could cook a carbonara better than this. The meat for sure wasn't guanciale, it tasted quite different (again I think it's bacon), I also doubt eggs were really used in making the dish, I think they just opted for cream.Furthermore, the pasta didn't taste fresh. To be fair, they don't advertise anywhere their pasta being fresh, but still, for the price, to get box pasta with cream and bacon?Since they had once apologized for the wait (before we got our food) When we were done, I was expecting some sort of gesture to say sorry for the wait. Something like, "hey can we get you a free espresso on the house?" Or "you know what the bruschetta is on us, sorry for the wait!", but nope, no such gesture. Not that anyone was rude, again, everyone was nice, just, perhaps aloof is a good word? All that to say, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and won't be returning. It's not terrible, it's just good.

La comida muy buena, pero fuimos con un chef de uno de los restauranes mas famosos de Miami Lakes , todo lo que pedia no habia primero Lasagna luego pizza . Como el nos dijo un sabado quedarse sin platos principales. La comida se demoro mucho.

Valentine’s Day lunch was excellent. The chicken mushroom linguine was perfectly balanced with a white cream sauce. You have to order the bruschetta, it was fantastic atop a fresh focaccia.

Wife and I made a reservation for 7pm. It was our first time dining at La Strega. We arrived early but wasn't seated until 7:20. After being seated we never had a server! The manager brought us water and then took our order. We got our drinks and appetizer an hour later, entree half an hour after that, so it was after 9pm before we got our meals. Not one time were we checked on, water never was refilled, never asked anything because we did not have a server. The tables around us had servers who seemed attentive. We had plans to go to movie after dinner but missed the movie. Once we got our meals, it was hot and actually very tasty. It would have been a nice night and good experience if we would've had a server.

We went on Valentine's Day. La Strega is our neighborhood “go to” Italian restaurant. We were looking forward to our favorites. So disappointed. It was a fixed menu (at 100% markup ). It was too late to switch to another restaurant. We won't be dining there when it's a holiday.

Not since 2015 when the original Giovanni sold his restaurant at this location, has the food been as well prepared as I experienced last night at La Strega; Deserving of a 5-star rating. The Chef who prepared our fresh branzino, the carbonara, the shrimp pasta with limoncello, the chicken piccata, and the salmon were all on point. None of us were expecting to be wowed, yet we were.I visit regularly and have for years. The pizza is my favorite, as are the carpaccio and salads. The bartender/waiter Bob always adds a special touch to the evening. It's so nice to have a local restaurant not simply for pizza and beer, we have dozens of those. La Strega is a classy bar and fine dining! Top three in Pembroke Pines without question. We forgot to take pictures, but next time we will. To continued success ?
