I hope the owners of this establishment take note of this review. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Pembroke Pines, serving nearly authentic Mexican cuisine that I truly enjoy. However, my recent visit was marred by a disappointing experience.

I encountered two new waitresses who were not only rude but also dismissive, responding with sarcasm instead of professionalism. To make matters worse, we were charged an automatic 18% gratuity on our bill for just three people, as they claimed it was their policy for bills over $50. This didn’t sit well with us, especially since the service was subpar. I noticed other tables were equally frustrated and discussing the situation.

The food remains excellent, and I’ve always appreciated the attentive service from the owners. I sincerely hope this feedback reaches them, as I would love to return for a more enjoyable experience. It’s essential to allow customers to decide on tips based on service quality; I would have gladly left a customary tip if the service had met expectations.

I did not have a good experience due to the service, I called the place to order something while I arrived at the site and they did not let me do it arguing that the tables were full and they hung up on me the second time after having left me on hold on the first call.
Anyway, it was close and I arrived five minutes later and I was surprised that there were no customers in the place. When I asked the girl why she was so attentive, she laughed and along with her partner who was also doing the same, they didn't have to answer. Anyway, I stayed because I had invited my family who was on the way. The service remained very poor the entire time until the moment I asked for the bill, which they had another very unpleasant detail by obligatorily including, without asking, a 20% tip, which I paid without ceasing to make the observation again that I thought it was in bad taste. All customers who attend a restaurant are aware of tipping, but what is not right is forcing us to pay a sum chosen by the same administrators who are serving. The reason they gave is that after fifty dollars of consumption that is the collection policy.

The food was really good, the only bad thing about the place is that they add a 20% tip to the bill without your consent, and they don't give you the option to choose the percentage.

They should change the name to “Best Damn Tacos Ever!” It’s a cute little shop in a strip mall with Mexican Day of The Dead statues, decor, and music. Get the signature tacos: the three chilis carnitas will knock your socks off. The Carne Asada is also a good choice. This is a west pines location near Silver Lakes but seriously worth coming here. Great Fun Service. Good Value! Must eat here!!!! Authentic Mexican sauces and flavors! And they have a Mariachi band. You gotta be kidding me.

Automatic gratuity even for take out even though they give poor customer service

This place is doing fraud it’s no way on taco Tuesday there tacos are 3 dollars and getting three of them still comes up to 19 dollars

Customers beware. It's places like this that take away from freely enjoying a nice meal without dealing with the scamming employees. I ordered two ignacios tacos on the phone. Although the food wasn't bad, it was missing beans and they only gave me one sauce from two orders. My complaint is that they charged me the yelp online price which is $15.99 yet their menus say $14.99. my question is, where is this extra money going since I never used yelp. Am I giving the front girls extra tips or what? This seems to be an ongoing issue in this area of pines but this will definitely be my first and last time here. I work to hard for people to just be stealing from hard working people just to get an extra buck or two. Tipping has gotten way out of hand and I'm seriously contemplating not to ever tip again especially when they are so incompetent to not even give you the full meal or sauce to enjoy.

Small local Mexican restaurant that we enjoy now and then. Stopped by last week with hubby and we really enjoyed the food. Very tasty and so much food we had for lunch the next day. Our favorite is La Tampiqueña and the enchiladas. Quick and personal service.
Fully recommend it.

Parking: The working lot in front is shared with three more restaurants. There is parking on the other side of the building.

Food is awesome. Their three sauce enchiladas have the perfect flavor and spice combination. Their service is always quick and the restaurant, while small, is clean and inviting. Favorite place to dine with my family when we want a good quick meal.

Vegetarian options: They will adjust a dish to make it vegetarian upon request. My parents are vegetarian so this is very helpful.

I ordered food from Los Tacos via Uber Eats for pick up and although on Uber Eats notifications said that my order was received, was being prepared and gave me a pick up time, when I arrived to the restaurant, the staff said they never received the order. I looked at my Uber Eats account and order had been canceled 3 mins before my arrival time. Staff was very unapologetic and had a bad attitude. Will never order from this restaurant again. Talking Taco on Pines is a much better alternative with friendly and helpful staff.

Stay away from this place, when you order to go or DoorDash, they only give you three chips on purpose with your meal. I called afterwards and I was told they give you chips for free if you dine in which is completely wrong with how expensive everything is and it’s more money on DoorDash than eating in the store. To top it all off the food was extremely disgusting and soggy. This restaurant uses cheap meat as far as steak.
