I was very disappointed with my recent experience at the Pembroke Pine store. I ordered the Butterfly Garden Cake for a birthday, the same cake shown in their advertising and display photos, just in a different color (bright blue with sparkling white).
The cake I received did not include the butterflies that are shown as the main decorative element in the advertised design. The icing was noticeably dry, and the vanilla layer inside appeared underbaked. The overall taste suggested it may have been refrigerated for an extended period. Because of these issues, the cake was not suitable for serving at the event.
I attempted several times to speak with a store manager on 11/05 but I was informed that Michelle was on vacation and no one else was available. After insisting on 11/10, I was eventually contacted by a Regional Manager named Amanda. Rather than acknowledging the quality and advertising concerns I raised, she offered a $5 refund and a 20% discount on a future purchase — even though I had already explained that I did not plan to buy from them again. She also declined to provide the owner’s contact information, stating it was confidential and that my complaint would end with her.
This experience left me with the impression of inconsistent quality control and limited customer service support. The difference between the advertised product and what was delivered, combined with how the complaint was handled, was very disappointing.
I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision.

Extremely Disappointed — Not the Misha’s Cupcakes I Remember!

I went to the Misha’s Cupcakes in Pembroke Pines expecting the famous, delicious cupcakes everyone talks about — but what a disappointment! I paid $2.84 for what turned out to be a tiny, frozen mini cupcake with squished buttercream on top. It looked and tasted nothing like the quality Misha’s used to be known for.

To make it worse, the lady at the counter was rude and unfriendly, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant.

As a baker myself, I can honestly say my cupcakes are far more delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented than what I received today. It’s sad to see how much the quality has gone downhill.

Honestly, this felt like a total deception. Where are the real Misha’s cupcakes that made this brand so loved? 🧁

Definitely not worth it — save your money and your sweet tooth for a better bakery.

Misha’s Cupcakes is located next to Lady Baker and LB eatery and wine. They offer a variety of cupcakes, sweet treats, cake in a jar, specialty cakes, and elegant cakes. The young ladies working were nice and the space was very simple.

You can also build your own cupcake box and pick a variety of cupcake flavors out of about 30 different flavors ranging in price from $2.25 to $2.50 per cupcake. You can get a box of 9, 16 or 25 cupcakes in a box. They also offer coffee drinks.

We came in to check out the options and we opted for a simple box of meringues. That’s all my kids wanted and it was affordable at $6.25 for a box. Kids really enjoyed the meringues which melt in your mouth when you eat it. Meringues are made with egg whites, cream of tartar and sugar. They are fun to eat.

I just realized, after the fact that Misha‘s cupcakes are also on the InKind app and they offer $15 off $45 welcome gift on the app and you also get 20% back on any purchase.

I’ve had two awful experiences here in just one week. First, my family member ordered a birthday cake in advance, and when he went to pick it up, they told him it was “for another day” even though he had the right date. Now, I ordered a cake for my daughter and when they called to “confirm,” they claimed I had placed the order for September 6 — which I clearly did not. Instead of fixing their mistake, they told me they couldn’t fulfill my order.

To make matters worse, when my family member asked for a refund for his messed-up order, they told him the manager was “out of town for 10 days” and that he couldn’t get his money back until the manager returned. Absolutely unacceptable.

This place clearly has major issues with organization, customer service, and accountability. I shouldn’t have to chase down my money or scramble last minute to find another bakery because of their errors. Save yourself the stress and order from somewhere else.

I love their cupcakes and cakes unfortunately service and actually getting a cake seem to be a problem. Placed an online order May 20 for a cake pickup for June 2 at 12:00 pm. Confirmed with the store that my order was received and they would be able to complete order on the requested day. This is isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with an order so I decided to go in early to make sure the order was on its way. After 10 mins of the poor girl in the front of looking and calling to be told my order fell through the cracks 🫠 all I got was a sorry for your inconvenience. Needless to say I’ve learned my lesson if you have an important event and need a cake Mishas would not be my first option.

My family I order the tuxedo cake from Misha’s at least once a year. It’s the best cake in Pines and we would be genuinely heartbroken if they ever stopped making it. The ordering process is super easy and the pickup times are flexible. I can’t speak for the other cakes because I’m so obsessed with the tuxedo cake, but the cupcakes are delicious as well.

Ordered cake for Mother’s Day many days prior to be delivered. They canceled the order during the day without giving any prior notice.

⚠️BEWARE SPOILED cupcakes on 2 occasions. first time about a year ago, I peeled off the cupcake liner to find green mold on the bottom of a cupcake. Now a couple of days ago I bought a dozen and icing on several of them had a sour taste. Ended up tossing the whole box. When I reached out to them, they wanted me to drive an hour to bring them back. Laughable. Never again!
