We oedeeed Dominican desayuno and it was absolutely amazing! We made the mistake of ordering 2 deserts habichuelas con dulce and 2 majareted to go. It was the most disgusting things we had ever tried. That was not majarete, didn’t taste like corn and it was so sweet that the sugar was overpowering. The habichuelas we a total fail. I wish I would order one of each to try it only. If you guys purchase these to a 3rd vendor you need to consider change it or just remove from menu. It ruined the good breaksfast experience.

Went for brunch and ordered quipe, empanada, mangu, and fried pork chunks. Food came out quick and was fresh. Service & music was 10/10. I’ll definitely be back, as a Dominican this tasted like my grandma‘s cooking.

Wasted my time driving 30 minutes for them to close earlier than what’s advertised! I am so upset!

The food is delicious and the portions are good sizes. I only ever get take out as the restaurant is small but its a great traditional Dominican food. Service can be hit or miss.

I ordered Sancocho, white rice, avocado salad, beef tripe, stew goat, stew chicken, sweet plantains, and rice with peas, mangu and got 2 rice pudding to go. The Sanchoco barely had taste, the white rice did taste good and was soft, the avocado salad was good and fresh, the beef tripe smelled like it wasn't cleaned right, the stew goat tasted ok but they used to much sugar when stewing it (Dominicans use sugar in hot oil to brown the meat when first pouring it in the pot), the stew chicken was good, the rice and peas was hard and tasted re-heated, mangu was tasty but could have been softer, and the rice pudding went bad! My family and I didn't really like the food and it was a disappointment since I'm Dominican and know how good we can cook! I'm not sure if the food wasn't up to par because I ordered it as Take Out but I will not be returning to this restaurant to eat again. But I will be returning to get a refund for the rice pudding!

The food is great has a good flavor. Mofongo awesome. When I am usually here service is good but I went in today and it was busy, waiting to be seated, when I askes to be seated by one of the employees she looked at a table for my family to sit at and it was dirty she gave me a look and reluctantly cleaned it, poorly. the waitress was nice though. The sever who brings the food had an she had an attitude not only with me but with other tables no smile no acknowledgement just a stinr face it seemed like she did t want to be working. I can understand you have a bad day but you are in the service industry and should be nicer.

The strip mall it's in looks old, but inside, it's clean and welcoming. The service is excellent and the mofongo was delicious and full of flavor!

This is our 2nd time eating here. We are from the Tampa area, we were so impressed from our first visit that when we knew we would be in the area again, decided to stop by and catch lunch. We arrived at 1:15p and got our food at 2:35p.
My husband ordered the goat and got only bones. I ordered grilled chicken breast and it was not seasoned at all and rubbery. We had also ordered 2 meals to go and were told they ran out of white rice.
There was literally only 2 people working on LABOR DAY!?!? Other tables were also disappointed in the wait as well as the food that came out.
I can say with certainty, there will not be a 3rd time. :o(

“This is my go-to spot for mangú. The food is always amazing, and the service makes it feel like I’m visiting family. The moment I walk in, they greet me with a smile and already know my order. Truly a welcoming experience every time. My only complaint is they don’t open early enough—I’d eat here for breakfast every day if I could!”
