One of the best I have tasted in that part of the city, excellent coffee, apart from the good roasting, the barista is very good

My wife went in for a quick empanada and coffee at 2:45. We ordered an empanadas, and a muffin. 5 minutes later they started cleaning the empanada trays and the store. I went an asked what happened to our empanada's and the cashier said they were being prepared. At 2:59 thhey started turning the lights out, so I inquired about our food. They said they were preparing the empanadas and the muffin. at 3:07 they handed me two boxes with the muffins and empandas. Not dine-in anymore, but a here's you box, and see you later.
I told them that as rude to turn the lights of and start cleaning before serving our food. One of them, said that was their procedure! How can they expect to stay in business?! After many years of going there, today was our final visit! By the time we got home, the food was cold. The only one that got fed was the trash can.

I've always loved this place so I feel sad writing this. I had breakfast today there with my mom and the service was awful. The young man in the cashier, he has black, long ish hair was so rude and had a nasty attitude.
When I asked him for a to-go coffee cup (the ones provided have a whole so the coffee would spill while driving), he directed me to ask the barista. I asked him for tape and he said there wasn't any. When I asked the barista for a to-go cup or tape, voila.
The lovely girl found tape close to the register.
As my mom and I were about to leave, I went to the front to ask for a box to take the rest of the food home. I figured I would take the uncooked potatoes home so I could cook them myself.
The gentleman was indeed busy, taking an order to another customer and while me and another girl waited at the register, I looked to my left and saw him playing basketball with napkins.
If you look at all of my other reviews, I tend to leave really nice reviews, and I've worked in the restaurant business so I understand how hectic things can be. But this guy in the front has an attitude that is even felt/seen by his mannerisms and demeanor. He also rolled his eyes at me....? Are you kidding?
My omelette was fine but the potatoes were undercooked, pale, and hard. Eating out had become a luxury and it's really unfortunate to have an experience like this and such bad customer service.
Even sadder that the owner doesn't seem to acknoledge or make any forms of repair to a customer that goes there pretty often. I've read recent reviews and wow, seems like the quality has gone down a lot and...it shows.

I have been here countless times. I would go back because it’s a convenient place to get a good coffee. A light breakfast here for 2 people will be almost $50, so it’s slightly overpriced. The empanadas are amazing but generally not consistent. For example, the ham and cheese empanada will have 2 pieces of ham one day and 20 the next day.
Most importantly, the service here can be atrocious sometimes. The staff treats you with complete apathy, as if you are a nuisance. The only person in there that has a happy disposition at times is the female owner, who greets you with a smile and a few kind words.
Not too long ago, I purchased a $4 mini “donut” pastry for my child and it was hard like a rock. I asked them if they could switch it out for something else and they said no because he had already had a bite. They would have to charge me. It’s $4! Their cost is minuscule. It would’ve been more valuable to make their customer happy. But I told them to forget about it and left the donut with my son’s tiny little bite there and walked out.
Another time, I ordered a pressed juice that tasted like pure water. It was supposed to have orange, pineapple, and cucumber. But I was positive it may only have had cucumber. Those things are pricey so I asked them to fix it. The male owner contradicted me and started giving me a hard time, stating that the recipe is always the same and that it wasn’t possible. I laughed in his face and asked him to taste it and see for himself. That’s when he finally gave in and realized he was making this into an uncomfortable situation.
My husband and I are in the hospitality industry and sometimes we comp entirely eaten meals if the customer complains because, at the end of the day, the customer will judge you based on how you handle their issues. This cafe lost my family as costumers over these small issues. For the price, I would rather go where we are treated better.

Came here to try despite some bad reviews. The cold brew coffee was not that great. Didn’t have a strong taste. I got the avocado toast and it was good but was lacking flavor. Could’ve used some spices, even salt. The vibe was off. I was expecting a cute coffee shop but it felt very dirty in there. Almost all of the tables had dirty dishes that needed to be picked up. While I was ordering the cashier put in the wrong thing 2 times and I had to correct him. He was trying to charge me $33 instead of $18. It was a mistake but still he just wasn’t paying attention. I would not come back.

Is this place under new management, because as a regular I’m never had such a negative experience. I always order the same thing Avocado BLT with “No Cheese” and as I’m lactose intolerant. I watched the order taker write “No Cheese” on the order. The order was delivered and it’s a heavily layered with bread as the base and then a layer of avocado and then a layer of cheese (not for me) and then bacon and topped with eggs. My order was not prepared per instructions and came with a layer of cheese. Well no big deal, people make mistakes. I had eaten a quarter of my meal, via a knife and fork before I discovered that there was cheese. So I take it up to the counter and let them know. I would like the order remade correctly, without cheese. The manager declined saying I had eaten too much. Remember, I’m lactose-intolerant and have no stomach for cheese. So I say let me get this straight. “You fixed the order incorrectly. It was your mistake because the order was taken properly. And yet I’ve eaten to much of an order that I can’t stomach, and you refuse to remake it, or refund my money , because I discovered your error , buried between layers, after I had eaten a quarter of it. That’s not a customer first mentality. You made the meal incorrectly and you should own it. It was a horrible way to displease a customer for your mistake. This is not how you should treat your loyal patrons. This is unsatisfactory.

Chill vibe, good coffee and a place to relax for a bit.
I did not try any of the pastries nor food so I cannot comment on that.
Service was ok.
Few recommendations, as you enter the doors and glass are extremely dirty and in the back it's cluttered.
Remember, the first impression is everything.

I went here the other day and let me tell you it was mid quality. I was so excited to go here because it has great reviews and I saw many pretty pictures. I ordered the petite filet minion and a coffee. The steak was made with way too much oil and it barely had any flavor, which was disappointing to say the least. The coffee was okay, I don’t have much to complain about it. Half way through eating my food I started to have a stomach ache and by the time I arrived at home I was in absolute pain. My stomach was bloated and hurt so much for the rest of the day and the morning after. My friends also ordered from here and had the same exact reaction. I don’t recommend this place to anyone unless they want a stomach ache.

Amazing coffee and Claudia is very nice
very nice and welcoming, the presentation of everything 10/10 unfortunately I ordered from the machine at the entrance and the description of what I ordered did not say that it had onion, when I received my breakfast it had a lot of onion (I do not eat onion) they should check that everything is listed in the description of the dishes

The owner is *extremely* rude. When asked for coffee in a certain way, started screaming and stating “he is the owner and does not care for specific requests”. The teller was also alarmed by his angry behavior.
Went to Starbucks nearby where people are trained to treat “Every customer” nicely regardless of their skin color or gender.

Great place to have a sweet bite with a friend while supporting a local business. The atmosphere is nice and you can sit comfortably and chat with friends or I’ve seen a few folks from time to time study or take calls for work/personal with their laptop in hand, similar feel to those who do the same at Starbucks. The sweet bites are pretty good. The coffee is pretty good. I also had the pizza and it was very cheesy. My kids enjoyed it. Overall it’s pretty good. I don’t have any complaints. The servers were nice and very helpful. It’s worth a try.
