Depending on who your server is, it's usually or even mostly good service. In the last three years, coming out of the pandemic, it seems like the food got smaller and smaller portion wise. The food was no longer the same, and unlike it in the past, it went down in quality. But it's like this everywhere, it seems. Yesterday was one of them days to where I totally enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich, but my wife said her chicken tenders tasted old. They didn't hesitate to change it to a chicken dinner, but because of the economy that some how is supposed to be great, and we somehow need to be grateful for was almost $50 and its why I'm writhing this review. The restaurant witch was once always packed was now empty.Asking the ladies we've known for years who work here, and they blamed the new Flanagans that opened about a mile away.Don't blame them. Blame yourself. Many of us would meet here, and everyone knew each other. Then, at 9, you kicked us out and even on a Friday or the entire weekend. Come 8:30 the workers want to go party and you can catch some of them at another bar. By 9, the food is put away, and they don't want any new customers or as I put because it's not their restaurant care that it's about making money and out the door no later then 9:30. This happened to me one night on a Friday when I called at 8:15 and asked if I would have time to come in and eat? I arrived at 8:30 when the bartender said we were closing and the food had been put away. Now mad I left and went to Joe's Pizza, who had a 10 o'clock closing scheduled and because of people continuing to walk in they stayed till everyone who wanted to eat got to eat. That's how it's done. Scrubys has a sports bar and had, at one point, a loyal crowd, but I'm thinking I'm not the only one who they pushed away.I hope the owners see this before it's too late. It's like Sears, when all these Walmart stores started Surrounding their stores and the Kmarts they purchased like hawks around there pray they didn't adjust to the changing times and raising your price with less food is a for sure way to kill a once thriving business.It may be too late to get the bar crowd back like it was. No matter what time of the day you knew someone at the bar. Or someone always knew someone even if you didn't know them.This was a place to brag about and because someone didn't pay attention to the help, who was already upset that they lost money to Door Dash and others because 100% of the tips went to the delivery guy stop caring about their place of work because as they put it the place stop caring about them.

My family and I stopped by over the weekend and loved it! The lunch menu is great, the portions are big and the food is amazing. First time in years we are able to sit for lunch, spend less than $50 for the 4 of us and take leftovers home. Great restaurant

By far the best ribs in town. Don't get this confused with the not so good ROBs bbq on 84. This one is at pines and university. These ribs...Un real how amazing they are.So good we ordered a catering service and not only where they onetime.But fresh and still HOT right out of the grill.Highly recommend 10 out of 10

I usually order take out here at least twice a month. Baby back ribs are always excellent.But this time we went in and we had an excellent time, the beef ribs and brisket were also very good. Our waitress Krisan was funny and attentive. Great and quick service. Country music playing in the background is a plus as well.
Daily specials are good value. A good bbq for a reason price and the wait staff is always very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

Food is TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Now that we got that out of the way let’s get to the real problem the food. no seasoning anywhere to be found Mac and cheese is definitely from a can, Popeyes has better Mac and cheese and that’s saying something collard greens were absolutely disgusting!!!! Now let’s talk $$$ for the money i spent I could have went to longhorns their portions are extremely small would not recommend to friends

Went in for lunch. BBQ with no smoke smell is a bad sign. While waiting I saw no fire or meats on the grill. The pulled pork I got was from a crock pot (saw them scoop it out). It was pretty much slow boiled not BBQ. It seems to me they are so busy cutting cost they forgot what type of restaurant it is.It is the year 2024 and they still have a sign that says mask required to enter next to the door.I have been going to this place for years and watched it go down after it was sold a few years back. Due to the mask policy I stopped going sine 2022. This is the first time I went in regardless of the sign and was very disappointed.If you want BBQ you will not find it here.

Great staff, they are very friendly and helpful. The food is average; the baby back ribs were ok, a little tough, and not fall off the bone. The spare ribs were meaty, but some had a lot of fat.Overall, it's a nice place to come and eat some BBQ with servers.
