My second visit to Umbertos in Pembroke Pines since the change in ownership. The pizza makers haven’t changed and they’re still cranking out the best NY style and Sicilian pizza that can be had in Pembroke Pines.

I love this place. The Sicilian Pizza is to die for you can tell all the recipes are family recipes and the quality of the food is awesome

Charged me $17 for 10 chicken wings with no fries and they weren't even that good. Then the ranch sauce given was watery and tasteless, seems like they're adding water to their sauces to stretch them out and save money. Overpriced mediocre food.

I've been a long time patron of this place and once I heard that the previous owners sold the place, I was devastated!! After the sale of the restaurant, I read a lot of reviews on here commenting on how food and service went downhill and it really deterred me from coming back. However, after almost 6 months of not being able to find a good replacement for grandma's pizza or linguine and clams, I just decided to give the place a try again. To my surprise, the food was JUST AS EXCELLENT as before!!! Portions were the same & tasted exactly the same. I also noticed that the placed looked a little "spruced up" -- repainted the walls and gave the place a nice clean to get rid of crud/buildup. Definitely felt "cleaner" and little brighter.I do miss the old waitress & waiter, but was happy to see the same chefs working in the kitchen!!

I have to be very honest, I did not like the food. The sauce was obviously Ragu, the pineapples are from a can, and the ham is from a salad prep bag.I was expecting authentic Italian food because I heard great things about this place. I come to look online and it turns out that they have new management. I found it very weird when I saw the people running the place and it didn't seem typical. No garlic bread was given, because I guess they don't give it anymore and that's a staple of every Italian restaurant I ever been to. For the prices that I paid, I expected something a bit better. To whoever the owners are, you should probably put under New Management because Umberto's is supposed to be a South Florida favorite. I just don't see how this place is going to last with this quality.

I'm not lying when I say that it was the worst pizza I've ever eaten, I really miss the previous owners who were characterized by their attention and the quality of their pizzas. I will definitely not return to this place. terrible experience!

This no Michelin star palace by any means but it was good I would eat it again. I had chicken parmigiana. And the sauce could use some attention. But the chicken was delicious very tender and very flavorful. Staff was nice as well. Hopefully they get a beer license soon. It was a nice little find.

My husband and I go here a lot and they have phenomenal pizza and fettuccine alfredo. Those are our go to dishes and they never disappoint.

New ownership but the quality of of the pizza is still amazing. Try a Sicilian with Garlic knots.

Italian food and pizza are all about the sauce. I did not like the food or the pizza sauce in this place. I went there because I was craving a Chicken Parmesano Sub and my favorite place was closed. The bread was stale and mushy not toasted, the chicken was dry like the sole of a shoe, and the sauce... I asked for extra sauce and got a dry sub. The sauce was tasteless.

Wow... I am so sad that the old owners sold. I have been praising Umbertos since I found it last year as it reminds me of home(Long Island, and yes i have been to the original location) the food use to be perfect...use to be..I ordered the same pizza, calzone, and soup I always do, not knowing that there was a change in ownership. Absolutely and utterly disgusting, the new owners have killed this brand. I truly hope the old owners see this and fight harder to have the new owners remove all branding. This is not Umbertos anymore! The calzone was salty, with way too much dough. Clearly they have no idea how to make a calzone. The pizza, burnt and of course very salty...I truly rather eat frozen pizza then ever go back here again. The soup..Pasta Fagioli.. an Italian staple that this new owner has disgraced. Everything about how they made this was wrong...how do you screw up a soup that is such a staple. It is safe to say I will not spend another cent here. I will go on remembering how the old owners ran this amazing family restaurant and how Umbertos should be remembered.

I’ve been living in pines for 6 years and Umbertos has been a part of my monthly rotation since day one. They knew my address when I called based off my name. I tried to eat the pizza under new management and you can tell immediately it wasn’t the same. Not only was quality jeopardized but they raised the prices. On top of that, I called 8 times straight trying to speak to someone and see why it was more expensive and got nowhere. Safe to say I won’t be eating here again unless I hear old management and ownership is back. How can you just randomly raise prices like that!?!?!??! Terrible.

I haven’t ordered from Humberto’s in more than 20 years and i just ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni and half ultimate supreme and a half order of garlic rolls with extra garlic sauce and the pizza was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! Unfortunately the garlic rolls hardly had any garlic sauce on it so, I won’t be ordering that ever again and it took over 1 hour to be delivered (if i would have known that then, I would have gone to pick it up) but, I’m really happy i took a chance and ordered a pizza from here. I can’t wait to order another one again and of course for pick up!!! Thank you to the chef! ??

Never post reviews but had to for this. My family and I have been coming here for at least 10 years.. We moved to the area in 2007, and have been going pretty much ever since.Today I walked in to learn Umberto's is under new ownership, and, as expected, the pizza was terrible and overpriced. Going from paying ~$30 for my favorite pizza and wings to paying FIFTY for low quality was a sad moment.I never thought I'd see this place go. I've told everyone about it, shared it with my girlfriend, had countless memories in this restaurant. I won't be returning here, but I'm thankful for all the years of service to the Umberto's family. I wish you all well, if you do see this, and hope you know you made a positive impact on myself and others like me.Thank you.
