Ordered the shrimp risotto. The risotto was inedible. Crunchy and had a strange taste. Server was good so it's hard to give negative review but the food was beyond subpar.

Visited the place last week at dinner time, few things to say: 1. Not sure if it was the location of the table but it was extremely hot, very uncomfortable. 2. Food and company was great so we stayed. 3. Today when I passed my expense report for approval a discrepancy was brought up to my attention, which by the way it was a bit to late because I paid the amount. (See the receipt… for a 38 dollars check the recommended tip amounts was not correct. It says 18% -13.xx it should have been half of that.. I ended up tipping 36%… you better check the small print before you hand your credit card.

My husband, my son and I got sick after eating there. The place is beautiful to look at, but the food made us sick to our stomachs. Be careful with chicken and salmon. We will not go there again.
My husband, my son and I got sick to our stomach after going to that place, it is a nice place to see but the food was bad, my husband's chicken which was grilled in a Cob salad, had a slimy texture and smelled bad, he asked to change the salad and they changed it, but after eating we had to run to the bathroom a few times, my 4 year old son had an "accident" in his underwear. We would never really go there again and would never recommend anyone to go.

It was my first time there. I went to a retirement party for my godmother Aunt. I actually ate every single thing on my plate. It was good. The salad is great. The cheesecake is good. It's a very nice place... I'm not from Miami so I bought two margaritas and two Apple martinis... Apple and it came up to $68 so that was kind of expensive. But the server is good and the restaurant is nice so I didn't mind paying

I have visited this restaurant on many occasions within the last ten years or so and have never had such a bad experience until Saturday, August 24 about 2:30pm. It wasn't that busy in the restaurant. I have hosted several family and friends gatherings here and have always had a great time. On this day I invited a friend, and was met with less than medicore service. The waitress served us bread covered in food debris on napkin covered on top. The silverware and plates were dirty. When we told her , she apologized. The bread we requested was not warm, she switched and brought bread but still cold. When the food arrived, my friend started eating her entree to discover she was chewing a foreign object. When she spat out it out, it was a sharp bristle object. I immediately truly lost my appetite and had to go search for waiter and ask another one to get the store manager. We explained to him what happened, and showed him, and he had this blank state on his face offered a lame and underwhelming apology. He asked to see it, examined with his hands and said I know what this is, it happens all the time, it's the bristle off of brush used to clean grill. The fact that this "manager" thought it was okay to state this with no further action but to stare at us is just incredible disgusting, and crazy to patrons. I haven't visit within a few months before this but I'm pretty sure this is a new manager. I would suggest training your leaders in hospitality and customer service. I stood up and let him know we would not be paying for anything as I left, he didn't say a word or offer anything for this bad experience. I'm highly disappointed and embarrassed that I recommended this place. I've tried calling corporate office several times , we are still playing phone tag, left few messages amd given them few days. This is the worst experience ever, the fact that eating out is so expensive and the service is at a low level but to have this happen is very unfortunate. People work hard for their money to patronize your business, this is absolutely unacceptable. You have lost a loyal customer.

The food was pretty good. I had chicken and waffles during brunch. I've had better, but it was still decent.

I didn't care for the manager on Saturday August 17, 2024 (Pembroke Pines). After he brought out our food, I requested condiments, and he stated "Your server will return and get that for you". Also, if you offer military discounts, it should apply to all MEALS purchased, including Happy Hour. Otherwise, ANY person can get the same price as a VETERAN. FACTS!

I can come to Village Tavern for the Spinach Tortilla Dip alone!! The dip itself is delicious and has a good kick to it with the Jalapeño. The tortilla chips are also lightly salted and crispy. I still haven’t found an entree I love - crab cakes were OK but loved the French fries and I wasn’t a fan of the steak tacos I had on a previous occasion. My boyfriend did enjoy his chicken sandwich. Service is always on par and we never really wait for a table which is a plus.

Try the brussel sprouts and margaritas and you can't go wrong! It's on the crowded side at peak times, (happy hour) so service suffers a little. But definitely worth the visit!
