I purchased a bag of 12 oz of Espresso Blend roasted coffee beans for $22.28. After tap to pay, Matt said “Make sure to always tip your barista.” I asked Matt if he owned the store and he said no. I found this comment to be highly disrespectful to the customer who did not order a drink, but simply was buying roasted coffee beans at “Coffee Roaster.” Honestly I don’t think I will be returning to this establishment given the attitude and culture of tip entitlement going on here.
Edit: Rating improved to reflect prompt response of management to my negative experience/review.
This coffee was great even though it wasn't made right I still enjoyed it!!
Everything I've had there is delicious: white chocolate, blueberry scones: coffees, chai lattes, etc = yum! The only thing that stinks is that only their drive thru is open on Wednesdays. :-(
Discrimination should have no place in any business, but that’s exactly what we experienced here. I will not support a place that treats people differently based on race, and I encourage others to be aware of this behavior.
Absolutely, hands down, the best espresso in Pensacola!
The shop was a pretty cool place. Nice people and service. I wouldn’t say this is speciality coffee by any means. I’m not sure if there are other speciality options in the area but I wouldn’t recommend here.
Hands-down THE BEST coffee you can find in Pensacola, and this is coming from someone who, previously, had a subscription for monthly deliveries of micro-roasters from around the world. It's that good, folks! We now just stop in to visit the beautiful staff, the beautiful artwork, and enjoy a prework/school latte. Also, they have a wonderful array of pastries with the ham and cheese croissant and king cake cinnamon roll (seasonal) being our favorites. Ben always greets us with a lovely beaming smile and is incredible!
This is such a beautiful coffee shop filled with fun paintings and unique art pieces. They have diverse house made syrup flavours that are so well balanced and not too sweet. Great place to WFH or just read a book.
We ordered a latte and a cappuccino with their walnut-fig syrup.
Highly recommend!!!!!
So glad we found this place through some Reddit reviews! I was needing some locally roasted coffee beans so I decided to take my son and mother to try out some espresso. Cool atmosphere and the service was great. My drink was great and I do recommend the orange peppermint flavor. I might need an extra pump of that next time. Yum! The espresso tasted rich and fresh. Initially, they forgot my mom's coffee but they were so nice about it when I mentioned it and knew to go ahead and make it to go. I did end up buying the coffee beans to grind at home. I'd recommend this place!
Food is great. Drinks are great. Coffee roasted on sight is amazing amazing prices for a specialty micro brewery something for everyone. I love to interact with the staff. If you know nothing they aren’t snobs and if you love coffee they can discuss it always a great environment. Starbucks prices for the special drinks but 10x better. I wish the notes were on the bags. No complaints though.

Have to admit from other reviews. Expensive here. $18 for a latte w/almond milk and a chocolate chip croissant (Greasy croissant). Was driving through to Panama city. Thought I'd try. My latte was wasn't even hot. Mediocre warm at most. Don't dare eat such a greasy croissant (ended up trying it) my mistake. ( & STALE)
Lesson learned here big time.
Also you notice they don't respond to negative comments. A good business always responds the issues.
The coffee and pastries were good and so was the service, but a pastry that is over $10 and an $8 coffee is not worth it. The prices are not well marked so we didn’t realize how expensive it was until after we ordered. It’s a nice place to meet up with friends, but not worth the overpriced menu.
This cozy little coffee bar has some high-quality drinks and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Super cool gem in Pensacola! Great coffees and selection. Gotta try the homemade biscuits and gravy on the weekend Worth the indulgence!
