We used BlueJays for our wedding cake and groom cake. It was absolutely amazing and handled everything, including delivery. We had 160 guests everyone loved the cakes. Great price too!!

I loved this place SO MUCH! Was absolutely floored when I heard they no longer have a kitchen or serve lunch. Used to go here all the time to get a nice soup or salad. One if the only places in town that had food I could get fresh, healthy food at. Chef Amy was amazing and they had some of the best teas I have ever had. They also used to have cute seating in the hall that really made the space interesting and was great to sit at. You could watch all the people go by and just have a relaxing time. Would go here for lunch with my mom whenever she came to town. I don't see any reason why they had to close the kitchen or couldn't keep chef Amy's dishes for the restaurant :( I really hope they reconsider. So sad and wish them all the best ?

**MILITARY & TOURISTS BEWARE**Ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my husband's marine corps' promotion ceremony. We were new to Pensacola and didn't know any better. We ordered red velvet with cream cheese frosting. The cupcakes were awful! They were previously frozen and very stale.Disappointed is an understatement for the amount of money we paid. **Edit to add** - After leaving my yelp review, I received a direct message from the owner stating that they ONLY do wedding cakes and implying that I didn't actually purchase the cupcakes. Seriously? We paid approximately $100 for 2 dozen cupcakes. What business does this? Provided documentation to her that I actually bought her cupcakes and she has failed to respond. Take your business to other local bakeries that actually care about their customers and take pride in their product. Again, BEWARE!

Disappointed: I purchased a coupon book from my son's school fundraiser, and also sold several coupon books to my co-workers, who work in the area.However, despite the recent coupon purchase and the expiration date being Oct 1, 2023, I was informed that the company was not honoring them anymore. That is a poor method of attracting new customers and honoring a contract of which I am sure someone signed with FundRays, the coupon company. Nonetheless, as I noted in the first sentence, disappointed.

I have never left a negative review, however after 2 bad experiences its necessary. I have purchased from BlueJay no less than 30 times over the course of their opening. I even supported a gofundme to get the business started. I have given the owner several chances to reach out to me and she has not. I just wanted to tell her directly how disappointed we were in case it was an issue she was not aware of. My order included a birthday cake (serve 8/10) decorated simply in orange and blue and 15 decorated happy birthday sugar cookies. The price on the order was $165.00 The cookies were dry and tasteless, and the cake was so dry we threw away the remaining cake and all the cookies! The dye from the icing was so intense everyone had orange and blue all over their teeth from eating the high pigment icing. Since my experience, I have heard from others with similar reviews. So sorry the owner didn't make an effort to follow up with me.I won't be back or even buy a coffee next door. Too many other bakeries in Pensacola.

We had Bluejays make a cake for a birthday celebration over the weekend. The process of getting the cake order put in was easy and efficient. The cake itself turned out beautiful. The problem was the cake tasted horrible. It was probably one of the worst cakes I’ve ever had and everyone at the party agreed. I don’t know if there was an error or something with our cake. Maybe it was a fluke, but for the cost of a having a cake made here the risk isn’t worth it.

We got married in Pensacola Beach. Bluejay made our cake. The cake tasting experience was awesome! We tried all sorts of goodies. We ended up with a 3 tier cake, two flavors: hummingbird and almond: the almond because it tasted like home (Puerto Rico), and the hummingbird because it was the most amazing cake we had ever tried! They made the perfect, most beautiful cake! It was even more beautiful than I had imagined.
