I don't understand the low reviews people leave at this place. Definitely not my experience. I ordered tequeños & steak parrilla and the meat was perfectly cook, the sauce was amazing and the gentleman who took care of me was beyond amazing. I've tasted many venezuelan restaurants specifically in Houston, Texas and I dare to say this is my favorite outside of Texas by far. The juice I ordered was delicious and tasty as well. Also they didn't take too long to get our order and to bring the food to us it was fast. So if you want to come to this place i would definitely recommend coming from someone who's outside of Florida and was visiting with my wife as we were celebrating our honeymoon. Thanks for your wonderful food and excellent service provided to us.

You want authentic Venezuelan fare, you need to check this place out!!! The food is out of this world!!! Go see Lou - he’s the man!!!

Note: Seating is limited to 5 tables but the wife and I agree that if it’s full, we’ll simply get it to go and enjoy at home.

If you’re craving authentic Venezuela flavor in Pensacola, El Bodegón Sabor Latino hits the spot! The food here is full of sabor and comfort.

We started with the Cachapa with cheese and cream—sweet, perfectly grilled, and that generous layer of melted cheese and cream on top? Ridiculously good. Then came the patacón with pulled beef, served over a crunchy cabbage salad and topped with sauces. The plantain was perfectly crisp, the meat flavorful and tender, and the mix of textures made every bite memorable.

The place is casual, prices are fair, and you feel like you’re eating in someone’s home. Don’t expect fancy—just real, homemade Latin food done right. A must-visit if you want something different from your typical spots in town. Will definitely come back to try more!

First time ever trying Latin food this place was amazing. I had the chicken empanadas and seasoned rice with black beans. OMG so good. This is definitely going to be my go-to place

I’m SO happy we can now enjoy authentic Venezuelan cuisine in Pensacola thanks to El Bodegón Latino! I’ve been here several times since I discovered it and cannot yet decide what’s my favorite plate, I liked the Pepito (Venezuelan hotdog on steroids!), I liked the cachapa (Venezuelan version of a pancake made with fresh sweet corn), the empanadas are big contender, but maybe I’ll pick the AREPA! My husband would probably choose the parrilla. Keep it up!

Ordered online as we were stopping for the day in Pensacola on our travels. I noticed this small sign as we drove by and wanting something other than fast food, we ordered and picked up.

This was great. The atmosphere is small, but we did not eat in anyway. It was the food that matters and boy did it hit the spot. The food was perfectly flavorful along with some accompanying sauces. The Empanadas were more than enough and the Parrilla was full of goodness. I even ordered some simple black beans and rice and was blown away. I highly recommend.

We stopped in randomly looking for something different. We were blown away by this little Venezuelan spot on 9 Mile. The you g lady serving us was very helpful and excited about the food. You can tell they truly love sharing their culture and cuisine with everyone. The Hotdog was insanely good and enough for two. In fact, all of the portions were good sized and the empanadas were out of sight. Plus, the very best fried yucca I’ve ever had. We will definitely be returning for more.
