My original introduction to a local gay bar to go to on the regular when I lived in downtown Pensacola. Nice to stop by after the piano show ends at Seville. But please: ought to turn the TVs off! Esp during a drag show.
Cabaret is a awesome downtown Pensacola bar and a great owner, Paul who is very friendly. Cabaret is a great place with awesome drinks and fabulous entertainers and drag shows. Very good atmosphere and super easy to walk to other venues in the area like restaurants or other night clubs if you like two bar hop!

We came into this bar with low expectations. It was a Monday night and everything else was closed or dead as a doornail. We were pleasantly surprised! Drinks? Delicious. Staff? Exceptional. Entertainment (it was karaoke night)? AMAZING! It was so good we went back the next night for Drag BINGO. We had the best time, the bartenders were always so sweet and checked in regularly and the overall vibe was amazing. No other place in downtown could compare.

This establishment bent and ultimately snapped my best friend’s ID in half while “inspecting” it, then had the audacity to claim it was fake. We were born the same year, and as someone who worked at a bank for two years, I know how to identify a fake ID—this was not one.
I understand the need to be cautious with age verification, but there’s a difference between being careful and being careless. Snapping someone’s valid ID in half is not only disrespectful but also damaging to their personal property.
It’s extremely unprofessional to treat paying customers this way, especially when we came out of our way to visit. Denying service because staff don’t understand what a legitimate ID looks like—and destroying someone’s ID in the process—is unacceptable and shows a lack of proper training

Staff at night are ridiculously rude. Specifically the people around 12-2am on the thursday night. Would not highly recommend but atmosphere was nice. Better off visiting any other downtown bar
