The crab enchiladas were horrible!! The crab was brown and tasted awful. Tried one bite and I was done. Truly disappointing. Do not recommend this place at all.

Carmin was great! Attentive and we never went without. 10/10 would recommend her as a server. Food and drinks were also delicious!

Carmin was great! She said it was second night on floor by herself and she nailed it. Thank you!

DJ was the best server! Management was extremely kind. From first greeting my party at the door to wishing us a great day upon our exit, a wonderful experience and delicious food experienced by all in my party. Try the seafood nachos- will not disappoint!

Delicious food. Friendly staff. Will definitely return. We were passing through and stopped for lunch. Every single person working there was in such a good mood and very kind to my kids and baby. I know my Mexican food and I had zero complaints about this food. Ordered the burrito with steak and it was loaded! The barria tacos were amazing and had a great sauce. Their cactus grits were yummy and creamy. Wish we had one where we live!

This restaurant has moved to Gregory St across from McGuires and next to Nola. The bar is too bright with glaring overhead lights. You will be charged 3.9% to use your credit card. When I asked about this policy, the manager lied and said the other restaurants around them also apply this charge. COMPLETELY UNTRUE! There are many better Mexican restaurants in town that don’t take advantage of customers… enough said!

Best food and service in town! I highly recommend Dj for server. The new location is wonderful. The parking is a huge plus!

As soon as you walk in, you get a canteen-like atmosphere. We were looking forward to TexMex, but what we got was really unloving. Cheese sauce instead of cheese reminds you more of movie food. Fajita was a tasteless meat and cheese mush packed into a tortilla. A minimal amount of guacamole, sour cream and tomato is served with it, which you can then add to the already prepared quesadilla yourself. It's just not a refreshing or exotic experience. The service was friendly.

We have visited numerous Cactus Cantina locations over the years. This was probably our least favorite experience. Everything about this place was simply average, especially when compared to other Cactus Cantinas. Service was shakier than what we have come to expect. It wasn't very busy, so that's not the excuse. I will choose other CC locations, if I have a choice.

This restaurant has great tables in the air conditioning by the windows allowing you but view the ambiance of Downtown Pensacola Palafox St. But it would have been nice to experience this. Servers would not allow us to sit there. 3-3:30pm. Not many customers but at least 3 servers standing around. Their excuse was there were no servers for these tables. We walked out. Disappointed with their attitude.

First visit in December. We had a fantastic waiter who was a college kid and was attentive and friendly. The food was great! We had street tacos and the $1 tacos. Amazing salsa and chips. We were very happy with our meal. Because of our first great visit we came back with a party of 5 and the food was just okay. We had burritos, $1 tacos, & even the salsa wasn't as good. (however the lemonade is outstanding!) So miffed on such different food quality 2 weeks apart. So therefore can only give 3 stars since you just don't know what you are going to get.

First time to visit this location of this regional chain. Greeted and seated promptly, all staff very friendly and attentive. Sports bar atmosphere with TV's everywhere, distracting and not particularly my preference. House margarita was just ok, nothing special. House-made chips AND salsa outstanding. My main course was a grilled fish taco dinner which was tasty and sufficient. Worth a visit, I might return during a different time of day.

We met a group of friends at the Cactus Cantina for dinner before the Mardi Gras parade in Pensacola. We were seated and ordering when the waiter told us that it was happy hour and all margaritas were half off. Most people in our group ordered single margaritas. When the waiter came to take our order I asked if they had pitchers of margaritas and if they were happy hour prices. He said they did have pitchers and they were half priced as well so we ordered a pitcher. One guy at our table ordered another drink and was brought something else and was told by the waiter that he would get him what he ordered and take it off the check. We all ordered food and it was a busy night and it was hurriedly served and that was understandable. However what was unacceptable was that when the checks came no one got half price margaritas. When we pointed this out to our waiter he went to talk to the manager. She came back to our table and said he was wrong there were no half price margaritas. She also told the guy that got the wrong drink that he got the drink so he was charged. No apology was given for their error in miss informing us about the prices was given. We have been to other locations of this restaurant and have always been treated well but was not the case at this new location downtown. They will not last long at this location with this manager.
