This is a nice place with nice people. They make the beignets from scratch and have fillings you can add. They are ok if you haven't had great beignets.

We ordered plain beignets and the chocolate/ pudding filled beignets. The food was pretty good (we got it to go) Guy in the back seemed to be annoyed having to fill an order even though we were the only patrons in the restaurant.

The beignets here are not that great, and only average at best. Got a dozen and almost all of them seemed slightly overcooked, almost flat, not fluffy, and over-powdered. If you're from LA, you'll be extremely disappointed.

Do not go. They close MUCH earlier than noon and they complain when you do try to go in and spend money there. The cashier was sweet but the guy in the back was a horrible SOB. He whined and moaned about having to make another batch at 1030. Sorry you had customers that wanted to help a small business. We will take our money where it's appreciated.

Rude rude rude. We tried to go there a few days ago at 1130 but they were closed. Called ahead and walked up around 1030 and the guy was complaining about having to make more. He was arguing with the poor cashier about whether the lady ahead of us ordered 1 or 2 dozen. She didn't know how to refund the money. We all were going to wait for another batch and my husband offered to buy all of what would be left over so the guy didn't "have to throw them all away". Mind you, it's only 2 of us and we didn't NEED 3 dozen, but we are big supporters of small businesses. Poor cashier was trying to get the guy to be nice but my husband finally overheard him saying that "people sit on their lazy a$$es all day and come in at the last minute" and that "these are breakfast food, not dang lunch food". My husband lost it.. again, it's like 1045 and they say they are open until noonish. He threw a 20 in the counter and we walked out. Horrible experience. I hope the other customer got her other dozen for her grandchildren.

Yes! Yes! Yes! This little store front... Mmmm Mmmm sooooo good! Made to order hot beignets. We ordered a dozen to go needless to say they didn't all make it our ending destination . You can have them filled with vanilla culture, chocolate cream, or plain. We choose the plain and were NOT disappointed!!! At this time they accept payment in CASH ONLY.

Great little breakfast stopover! The service was very prompt and friendly.The filled Beignet's are the best! I think a chocolate and peanut butter filling would be great! Would you consider Springfield, MO. As a possible location? Great location and easy to find.

What a gem! Beignets were made fresh and the cafe au lait was delicious. Seemed like a lot of regulars come here, which is telling for this little shop. So so good and location is convenient to our condo across the street.
