Love love this place. We arrived at 3:30 (30mins) before closing & Coco was so helpful & didn’t rush us. Took the time to talk with us & let us know not to rush. Definitely would recommend this gem sandwich bar. 5stars!!

Lots of gluten free options for my husband who has celiac. He ordered the Pork BBQ plate. For an appetizer, we had the goat cheese cheesecake with seasonal pepper jelly that was served with gluten free crackers. I had the Spanish Crab Cazuela which was so delicious!! It was served with a green salad with blue cheese and spiced pepita's. They also serve Rishi brand hot tea which is my favorite. Will definitely go back!

Carmen’s Lunch Bar is a perfect place to grab lunch! I have been here three times and each time has not disappointed. First and foremost, you need to try the soda bread! It is heavenly and perfect to share with a friend. The kale salad is also to die for with such a delicious dressing. They also offer a variety of soups which all taste incredibly good.As far as entrees go, the chicken tikka masala plate is good but it isn’t a showstopper. I have also tried the crab cazuela plate and found it to be quite salty/greasy but still tasty. I’ve also tried a Cuban sandwich special with side salad and that was really good!Next time I come, I will definitely get soda bread, soup/salad, and maybe try a different entree :)

One of the best cafes/lunch places in Pensacola! Food is made with quality ingredients, fresh, and seasoned well. I got the chicken salad and highly recommend! Love that there are plenty of gluten and dairy free options, and they gladly accommodate allergies and substitutions. I could tell that the salad dressing used real olive oil and the food was flavored with fresh herbs. The only place I've gone to where a salad isn't wilted or rotting either! Our waiter David was wonderful and the whole table had a great experience and enjoyed their meals. The service, presentation, and care about the quality of the food was so refreshing to see. Sitting outside is airy and enjoyable, inside is darker and a small room. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

My top 3 restaurants in town. Crab pepper poppers, CTM with basmati rice, thai crab soup are amazing !

Very nice staff, even on a busy morning I had good and attentive service, and the wine list had a nice variety of wines and price points. The food was delicious and and nice portion size.

Great food, atmosphere, and service! Seating is very limited outside at around 2-3 small tables, inside is primarily limited to eating around the bar - which I enjoy. The food is incredible, but as is typical with tapas, the portions are fairly small. We enjoyed the Spanish crab pepper poppers as an appetizer, not too spicy, with a great flavor. I ordered the Cuban pork plantain pie, a good mix of sweet and savory, and my wife ordered the Thai yellow crab curry chowder. Both dishes were delicious, although I preferred her Thai curry for flavor and larger portion size. We also had a beer and wine with a good selection. The bartender was friendly as was everyone sitting around us. It seems that many come back often to eat here and the quality doesn't deteriorate - a great sign! It's not a cheap place, but not excessively expensive, very typical for tapas. We will be back

The thai yellow curry crab soup was fantastic if you like yellow curry. The crab melt sandwich was equally fantastic. I think my perfect meal would be to split the crab melt with someone and get a salad to split also. It's very rich, and half was plenty for me.

Enjoyable meal. The stracatto slow roasted beef sandwich was worth getting. The horseradish potato salad was light and complimented the beef. The crab cazuela was good. Very rich. Definitely order with a salad.
