Mr. Ty and his staff provide a wholesome down home atmosphere surrounded by inspirational prints on their walls. I entered the restaurant on a Friday craving fish, and I came away with so much more. I noticed the smiles of patrons as they viewed their meticulously prepared meals. My fish was hot to my touch, and my sides, baked beans and potato salad, were incredibly good. I was afforded an opportunity to sample the BBQ, and I will be back! The sauce is the best on this side of Heaven.“

“I tried calling today but no answer. I was in Walmart today, Hwy 29. Pepsi was there stocking , I’m very short so reaching the top shelf is challenging, especially having to get a 2 liter out of the rack. The Pepsi employee saw I was struggling to get a 2 liter Dr. Pepper (my apologies) and he offered to help me. Offered to help me get his competitor off the shelf. I thought it was extremely sweet. I wish I could’ve gotten his name. He was a younger guy, nice, 5’11 or so, long hair.“

The very best gumbo and fish and cheese grits, hands down, in the Pensacola area. And, the best sweet potato bread pudding (we ate it so fast, I only got a photo after it was gone)! Just Wow! Broussard's has been around for a long time. And with all the old and new restaurants in town serving similar dishes, this hidden gem next to McGuire's really outshines them all.
