I ordered through door dash and overall I give my plate a 5. I had the 4pc while chicken with Mac and cheese and jambalaya. The Mac and cheese needs seasoning, The chicken needs seasoning, Jambalaya tasted a lil bland also my drink wasn't cold....Bot to mention peach cobbler was not good it tasted like bread pudding and I don't like pudding

Man all I could say was ohh my god. This food was so good. It is worth every penny.

I live an hour away and found this location (Chelle's Soul Food) by searching for the best soul food in Pensacola and a few locations pulled up. The reviews (some were not so good) but that didn't deter me. Also, I was sold on the food presentation. I know some people get in their feelings and I'm sure if people would address their complaint with the owner in a professional manner then it would be corrected. If not, then you should give your honest feedback including your interactions with the owner.

I have visited this restaurant 3 times and All orders were consistent with no complaints. I have ordered smother porkchop dinner, gizzard/liver dinner, fried chicken dinner & fried fish dinner ALL were excellent.

This was a DoorDash order. Can’t comment on service or atmosphere aside from the fact that they make unauthorized substitutions. I order fried chicken livers near their closing time. When received the color was off, too pale. When I tried to eat them the texture was way off. Checked them out and found the livers to be almost red. I fed them to the dogs, they don’t mind eating raw meat.My first orders from this store were great but things have have gone slowly downhill. After reading other complaints, I don’t think contacting the store will make a difference and DoorDash has refused to post my review.

Chelle’s was great at first, though fried gizzard were so hard that I couldn’t eat them. They also made an unauthorized sub on an a la carte order for candied yams. I don’t like their Mac and cheese. My last order was chicken livers. They arrived looking pale. When I tried to eat them the texture was way off. Checked them out and they were raw. YUK!!! Door Dash gave a credit but has refused to ist an honest review backed up with pic.

Very rude to both customers and delivery drivers alike. I came here on two separate occasions, weeks apart. Once for third party delivery service, another to try for myself. Both times I was met with blatant disrespect and ornery staff. It’s as if they’re upset that you’re trying to give them money. Bad business. Don’t open a store if you don’t want to serve people with respect.

I tried the pork souse. It was nice and hot. Well seasoned. Full of meat. I really enjoyed it. I’ve been wanting to try souse and I wasn’t disappointed. I will definitely be recommending and visiting again. 🥰🥰🥰

The overall experience was meh ?, I got the fried fish and shrimp , the food was okay and for the price it wasn't even that, the ordering process was also not

We called ahead as this location is pickup only. Which is why I gave 2 stars on atmosphere. The front door was locked. We had to call when we were outside and then also paid for our meal in the doorway of the business. Granted, it doesn't seem that they're located in the safest neighborhood so it all kinda made sense but it was different, nonetheless.We ordered a 3 piece fried chicken combo with two sides and a drink. Sides were mac & chz and yams. Also ordered 4 fried fish combo with one side and a drink. Side was mac & chz. Ordered all four desserts available: red velvet cake, bread pudding, peach cobbler, and lemon cake.The fried fish and fried chicken were really good. Friend fresh and hot even after a twenty minute drive home. The mac & chz was good but quite was pictured. The yams were, without a doubt, canned yams.The desserts. Ugh. The desserts all came from the bakery section of Walmart. And I don't know how to feel about that. Had I known, I wouldn't have purchased any of them.Overall, we gave the meal 6/10 not sure if it was worth the $50. But we supported a local business.

The Best Soul Food In Pensacola Florida. I had the pleasure of ordering takeout today ♥️. 4 wings so darn good crispy outside tender inside seasoned to perfection, pork chop dinner for my son with Mac and cheese, mashed pots and gravy with a nice fluffy slice of cornbread and homemade strawberry kiwi, THE BEST.... I/WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR LUNCH TODAY. REPEAT CUSTOMER MRS. CHARLOTTE
