Amazing Chicago food. Pleasant staff. Event nights are always fun. The owner is upbeat and very friendly.

Well. When you walk up, your expectations are met. It's an old smelly building, the staff does their best to cope. The food has solid Chicago style, but in an attempt to wow you into submission the layers of toppings kill the flavor. Much like the Chicago Bears, has some decent ideas and some solid players ( Italian beef and dogs), but just can't pull anything together to form a winner. Not worth stopping by, maybe try takeout to end a night of drinking.

Beef sandwich: perfect. Gyros: better than you've ever had, the seasoning was to die for. What really floored us though was the fettuccine alfredo- the chicken was marinated (or seasoned?) to insane perfection. Great place, great food, reasonably priced drinks. I've been here once a week (or more) since they've opened, and I'd likely be there every day if I lived closer.

OMG, their Gyro was amazing. So much food for the price, not just 3 skinny pieces of gyro meat but an overflowing pita. Couldn't eat the whole thing. Staff very friendly and fast. Def gonna come here again. Oh and did I mention they give a discount for military.

Great atmosphere. Great food. If you miss Chicago food, this is the place to go.

Been to Chicago, had the "real deal." This place sucks, the wings made me want to vomit, they were freezer burned and not enough sauce. The hot dog was decent. Everything else?? I feel bad for them, I really do. You can tell they are struggling. I hope they work, hot dogs good, but the owners should not be restaurant owners. The owners should be put to shame while they make their employees starve for money. I remember when it was a Chinese restaurant: I will not be back to this hell hole you call "good food". Blah!'

Good location, good food and the staff was very friendly and efficient! I definitely recommend this place

Was going to rate 5 stars (only because I've been during the day) but went there tonight around 10:30 and they tried to charge a cover when we were there to just eat. We ordered a drink and it took forever so we left. Music was blaring and too loud. Sounded like they turned it up so we ended up leaving. Also waited 5 minutes for said beer and wanted to pay and tip the server (only because we are all industry people) because I know how it can be. But we never saw him again.

Recently visited the Chicago Bar and Grill and as an 40 year Chicago resident KNOW what Chicago foods taste like. Upon our visit, we had the beef sandwiches and the hotdogs, and I must say the hotdogs were good, much like Chicago's very own. As for the beef sandwiches, they were fair, similar-to however not as good as the true Chicago beef sandwich served by the like of the now national famous Portillo's Hot Dogs and Beef. Further, prices are high ... for example Portillo's Beef, the largest fast food in the Chicagoland area, charges $12/lb for beef which will make 3 to 4 sandwiches, while Chicago Bar and Grill charges between $10 and $12 per sandwich ... allowing for the roll and peppers that's still a 250+% upcharge. As for the establishment itself, it appears very basis and somewhat overgrown, decorated with very inexpensive, even cheap decor and furnishings. In summation, if you can get past the rundown, cheapest appearance of the establishment, their food is as close to Chicago beef and dogs as you'll get in Northwest Florida.

Ordered the Chicago Dog and Fried Mushrooms the other night and let me tell you my mouth had an orgasm! The hot dog was spot on right outta Chicago and the mushrooms were excellent though I would have included some ranch dressing. Will order again for sure!

I'm originally from Chicago and was excited to hear about this place. Been there twice and both times had the same bad experience. It took over 20 minutes to get a beef sandwich and it was served with cold fries. I would like to say it was because they were busy, but they weren't. The beef is ok but they use the wrong type of bread. I won't be back.

Legit good Italian dog I recommend highly. Don't be discouraged by the outside. It's a work in progress.

Location isn't great but the food is alright. Staff was great and helpful. I tried several items on the menu and they were good. Inside could use some work but all in all not bad.

Not only is the GM from NW side of Chicago like my wife and I, the food was excellent just like home. I had the 8in Italian beef and my wife the Gyros sandwich. And let me say they didn't disappoint on either. Also had the Bakalav. Truly authentic Chicago style food and theme. Thank you Jessica see you soon.

I am originally from Chicago and I approve of the food served here. Cute decor and really nice staff. Prices are good too. You have to try the Mac and cheese bites and have a real Vienna hot dog. I really liked the crinkle cut fries as well. Next time I am going for the beef. I could totally see having a group get together here.
