This one made me sad. First time and excited to try. Went at 4pm on Valentine's Day got right in and that is where the good things stopped. Wrong drinks, hour wait for 2 steaks, food come out cold. To many other options for this to happen when your paying top dollar. Hope they can get it figured out. Steaks had good flavor. Very disappointed.

This restaurant used to be amazing 20 years ago, but they have definitely changed. We ordered the crab claws, which had more fried than crab; prime rib, which was as thin as those “thinly sliced” steaks you buy at Publix and had absolutely no seasoning; the au jus was 50% sauce, 50% grease; and the filet was also thinly sliced and almost looked like a McDonald’s hamburger patty. The manager said the chef was overwhelmed and to come back on Tuesday and he’d comp one of our dinners. No thank you! I already spent $236 on food that had me wishing I would have just stayed home and cooked myself. It would have tasted better, been thicker steaks, and been less expensive.

First of all it was my first time ever going here I really wanted to try it since its been around for a long time. Yes we did go on valentines day however that should be no excuse. The food was flavorless drinks were terrible and they were out of basic items like steak sauce, salad toppings and sour cream for potatoes. We both got filets they were undercooked cold in the center and no flavor. We brought the leftover home to the cats and they wouldn't even eat it.. the atmosphere is very outdated and the wait staff seemed like they were having a hard time keeping up. When we finally were seated it took about 20-25 minutes just to have our waiter eventually take our drink order. Green beans were horrible broccoli was hard not cooked long enough. We literally left most of the food and drinks untouched on the table and wait staff did not even offer to ask if something was wrong. We will not be returning. For the price we paid we were expecting a more high quality dining experience. We can go get a better meal at mcguires for half the price and better quality

A charming family-owned steakhouse. Cayden was an excellent server; Sure mad is feel right at home. Reminded me of the weekend barbecues we used to have growing up--Excellent grilled steak, loaded baked potato, and juicy sliced tomato. Highly recommend!

Heard about this place for a while. So, we tried it last night. I highly recommend you go elsewhere. I ordered the $50 16 ounce ribeye. medium rare. ,salad side and baked potato. Ribeye was the worst chewy cut of beef I've ever had . Stringy, full of fat and grissel Potato on the hard side. And the "Homemade blue cheese dressing bland. Son ordered chicken which was extremely small piece. The waiter was great attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, that didn't overcome the meal. $99 included 2 cocktails. Food was worth $1 I took home most of the steak for my dog. He tried a small piece and spit it out. Went in the trash. Should have read the reviews.
Has been over 40 years that I have missed this wonderful establishment. Great atmosphere, food and service. Testament to how local restaurants can endure over time

Not sure if it was just a bad piece. But i got the toughest medium ribeye ever. Not one tender piece. I am disappointed bc i heard so many things. And the Brussel sprout were complete mush. The blue cheese was almost inedible. We got there at 7:49. Friday evening and it was slow. The waitress was amazing. She was personable and funny. She is the only reason i didn’t complain didnt send it back. I feel we got old “end of the night” food.

The food is mediocre and overpriced, and the atmosphere is dark and outdated. I ordered the filet mignon special cooked medium, but was served a rare steak that was charred on the bottom. The server asked how the food was, so I let her know. She offered to have it recooked but I told her I'd just finish what I had. That was the end of it. It was definitely not worth the $40 we paid. We don't plan on returning.
