When things go wrong with the service industry I do everything I can to make it right with the business before coming here to Facebook. I’ve worked in a restaurant and I know things happen because we are all human. However the resolution offered by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is unacceptable. And yes, this is a first world problem but this needs to be acknowledged by Cracker Barrel management. We placed a delivery order through the Cracker Barrel website on January 21st. I used 150 of my “peg rewards” to get $15 off my order. It turns out only 1 bag of 2 was delivered. I called the store and they acknowledged that it was sitting there. However they had just closed as it was 8:03pm when I called. I submitted and “issue” on the order link. We were given a $50 Gold Card (gift card). That didn’t cover the dollar amount of food we were missing, especially given I lost my rewards, but I accepted it. So now I go to use this gift card to order the same food and am told the card can only be used in the store! I called the local store and the manager admitted it was 100% their fault but that the only way we could use the $50 card (which is only good for 90 days) is to drive to the store and pick up the food or dine in. Even though the whole issue was that 3/4 of our food was never delivered. Why is it so difficult to get an equal resolution to the issue? Can I at least get my rewards restored?!!
Went the day before Thanksgiving, was not to busy, service and food was great!

The bloody Mary's were lame and the steak reminded me of liver. Still, It wasn't that bad. Hard to find a good reasonable restaurant any more.

I like having a choice of breakfast or dinner food. They do a great job on either.

The food was great, the Baked potato was cold and not quite done. But the smiles and the friendliness made up for the problem. The staff and the manager are just wonderful just made everything pleasant.

Horrible thanksgiving plates, the service was fast and thorough but the food was so nasty I had to spit it out no lie. My finance said the same and I felt horrible for bringing that home for Thanksgiving dinner, only reason I did was because I had to work but had I known how bad it tasted I would’ve never bothered.

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised. We had taken Cracker Barrel off our list of places we would go. Last time in a Cracker Barrel the food was subpar. Bacon was so thin I thought I was at Waffle House. Anyways we are camping and temp this morning was 43 F, and not prepared clothing wise so cooking outside was not going to be fun. It’s it’s Thanksgiving Day and they are open. The food was actually very good - had the Grandma’s Special. The coffee was good the service was excellent - many refills of coffee. They were extremely crowded, but didn’t feel rushed. Oh and the syrup is actually syrup not the fake stuff. Still don’t know why they think their customers will have a mimosa with their menu but I guess sales will tell. Wish I had taken photos.
