Going to go ahead and go e it all 5 stars even though they admitted they were not at the top of their game today. The Sorcerer Sandwich was excellent. (I exchanged the rye bread for pumpernickel. ) I will definitely go back when the full array of salads and desserts are available.
My sister and I went to the Deli Case for lunch today for the first time. When we arrived they took our drink orders and brought our iced tea. My sister ordered lasagna and I ordered quiche. At this point we were told that the oven was broken so that limited the menu significantly. We ended up eating potato bacon soup, which was good.....just not what we wanted. The chocolate silk pie and tiramasu was excellent. Despite just opening, the bathroom garbage can was overflowing so...
First of all, let me say the food was fantastic and the service was great. Friendly owner and the menu has great options. Avocado on my sandwich was fresh and I recommend The Dark Knight sandwich. I do have to comment on the atmosphere. I nearly walked out after arriving because it smelled strongly of moth balls and the place looks quite dingy. I chose to stay because the reviews are good and it was quite busy. I would come back here again, but really recommend a deep cleaning...
