This restaurant should have been much busier. Of course being on the canal serves as a great little “hideaway” atmosphere. And eating on the porch was so pleasant on this fall day. Everything was so well prepared and so fresh. Fried shrimp and oysters were fried perfectly and paired delightfully with their homemade tartar sauce. The grilled shrimp were also excellent, and while aggressively seasoned did not take away from the natural flavor. Even my partner’s burger was seasoned and prepared so well. If I didn’t live so close I’d certainly drive across town to eat here!

Excellent place for a relaxing and casual meal. The fried shrimp and fish is perfect, with a light and tasty breading. Po'boy's are great, although a little tough to keep together while eating, so keep a fork handy. And the hushpuppies are the best I've had in Pensacola. Service is always super fast and friendly! Seating is limited, but very clean and well organized, and I have never had to wait for a seat. They offer live music regularly on the outdoor patio, which makes for a perfect inland waterway experience.
