Their website says that they close at 10:00 pm. My wife and I showed up at 9:03 and stood inside the door for several minutes. No one acknowledged our presence. This was our favorite go-to place in Pensacola but we were really disappointed. Not sure if we’ll go back.

This little gem is always on my list of places we must visit when we are in the area. I do not even know how we found it the first time but it was years ago on our way to a soccer tournament. Since then we stop anytime we are near. The staff is friendly, food is delicious and atmosphere is great!

Wasn't bad but not worth the money. Too expensive, and food Wasn't comparable to kohns on palafox. Better quality sushi and bigger portions and cheaper price.

We came here a couple of times as we were staying very nearby. It's OK. Nothing special. The food was good, no complaints there but there was just nothing particularly endearing about it. The staff just about do what is required and nothing more. The vibe is loud and not particularly pleasant. The prices are punchy for what it is. All in all, it just about scratched my sushi itch but when you look at your reasons for going to a restaurant and the main one is because it's nearby that isn't great.

This is the second time this has happened, so I had to leave a review. After spending 25 minutes there, we never met our server. We spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to come out table. I approached the hostess and asked if there some miscommunication and maybe the server didn’t know we had been sat. She said the server knew, but she’d remind them. The hostess then brought us water, and said the server would be out shortly. After 5+ minutes, no one had arrived at the table. We simply got up and left at that point.

Probably some of the best sushi I've had. One of my husband and I's favorite spots to eat while we were living here. The decor and overall vibe of this restaurant matches the energy of downtown. Bathrooms are clean. Service is friendly.

100% recommend the bread pudding.

We had an excellent experience at Dharma Blue! The sushi was absolutely delicious—fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. Our large group greatly enjoyed dining outdoors, taking advantage of the lovely atmosphere and wonderful weather. Allie was attentive and friendly, making sure everyone had a fantastic time. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting, perfect for both small gatherings and larger celebrations. Overall, Dharma Blue is a top-notch spot for delicious sushi and a great outdoor dining experience. Highly recommended!

This is my second time coming here with my boyfriend while on vacation and it was just as delicious as I remember. I got the fish of the day both times and it is delicious & perfectly cooked & seasoned. Our server was amazing and the atmosphere was very nice. My boyfriend got the rainbow roll and he said it was delicious & we’re both picky about sushi. We will be back next time we’re in the area!

I was excited to try this place but after paying $42 for a well done steak that was supposed to be Medium - which I couldn't even attempt to send back as the server did not grace us with her presence until half an hour later when we tracked her down ourselves for the check - I won't be back anytime soon. The atmosphere is loud and chaotic. We spent an hour and ten minutes here, paid $100, and were extremely disappointed in the service, food quality, and the vibes.

Came to this place for sushi because my typical sushi place I go to was closed on this particular day (not sure why - it was a holiday I think). I went up to the hostess, and she said that there was a 15-20 minute wait to be seated. However, there was nowhere to wait. They expected my elderly family member and I to stand outside in 90 degree farenheit heat. We went outside and saw that there were 6 empty tables. I asked the hostess why they couldn't seat us at one of the outdoor tables, some of which were in the shade and therefore we wouldn't feel the heat as much. She gave me some excuse about the tables being reserved, but no one new was showing up to sit there. She also mentioned about the kitchen being behind. After about 10-15 minutes, I had enough, and I was concerned about my elderly family member being out in the heat. I told the girl to cancel my table and that I'd be taking my business elsewhere and how I was concerned about a senior citizen being left out standing in the heat. She didn't care.

I think what it comes down to is that this place is extremely short staffed. I only saw 1 or 2 servers for the entire place, which had a fair amount of tables. 2 servers indoors and 2 servers outdoors really are needed for the place to run better and more efficiently, not 2 servers for a whole restaurant full of people. For the amount of money they charge for the food, I'd expect better quality service. My family member and I left and ended up going to a Hibachi/ Japanese restaurant that also had sushi and had a much better experience

Very beautiful setting and pleasant staff. We only ordered Appetizers but they were good and had a burst of some intense flavors.
