I moved here from Colorado 7 years ago, and had been desperate to find good Mexican food. Every single place I tried sent me into despair, as I was used to there being incredible hole in the wall, authentic places on every corner back home. I was particularly homesick one night, and decided to try once more to find quality Mexican food. A girl need a taco dangit! I found this place on door dash, and ordered an assortment of things for my mom, the kids, and I. Burritos, tacos, assorted meats, and of course jalapenos, I went overboard. I was craving a solid lingua, as if it's cooked right, it's the most incredible taco you'll ever find. The smell emanating from the bag must have driven the driver crazy, and I'm hoping he went back to obtain their own order of tacos. That level of torture is inhumane. While guilty of probably breaking the Geneva convention, Taqueria El Asador provided generous portions of each ingredient, and made me happy I ordered the extra tortilla per taco. It's like having a bonus today once you're finished with the original!First off.... The lingua.... Oh my lord! So I'm a widow, a very young widow. There's certain things you miss as a widow. The cure... Eating a lingua supreme taco with the salsas and a jalapeno. The flavor, texture, experience, of eating this particular taco was a delight for the senses. It sent a shiver of delight through me, eyes rolled back in my head, and I'm not responsible for the sound of approval that escaped my mouth. No one heard it though, as they were currently immersed in their own culinary delights. My mom is a huge fan of pintos and also of pork within her Mexican dishes. She was pleased by both and Said they were the best she's ever had. Both children finished their burritos, which is a feat as they're at a stage in development where everything is gross unless it comes from a box or a can, and creative culinary experiences go over their heads. The steak was tender and delicious, and had my kids hunting around through their fallen morsels that escaped the burritos for more.So tldr of this experience: lingua was incredible, will be ordering stupid amounts of this again. Pork, beans, and steak, all Delicious too. Salsas, rice, and other "others" complimented the meats beautifully. I will be coming back over and over.Thank you for being a home away from home!

It can be a tough one to get into and out of, but if you are patient, trust me, it's worth it!

People have been raving about this place to me for years and I finally made time to stop in.I'm a bit underwhelmed in all honesty. Nothing really had much flavor.I got two tacos, one pirata and one supreme. One had steak and the other had pork. Besides the fact that they did my tacos backward, neither meat had any flavor besides the grilled taste. I was surprised because everything looked so fresh and inviting. Even the cilantro lacked that powerful taste. Onions weren't very strong. I just couldn't taste the difference between either meat flavor wise.Even the limes that came with my meal had almost no juice in them! And I came right after they opened. It's not like it was closing time. The two sauces that came with the tacos didn't really taste like anything either. The red sauce was decent and added some dimension to the meat at least. The green one was a big no. Not sure what it was but it was off putting.I'm sad because I really wanted to like this place because it's so popular but the lack of distinct flavor was more on par with Chipotle. The best part is the amount of meat they provide on each taco. Healthy portion size but the drawback is the flavor is lacking. It was just ok for me.

Super disappointed with the El Asador. Order un platillio de Carne. (Beef Steak) The Steak was cooked but cold. (Cebolla, onions cold). Arroz Rice cold. Note: if you want soda, you must get soda from the gas station. Note: No haye Heilo Note: They dont have Ice for drinks. Note: Lettuce and Tomato doesn't come with the Steak Dish like normal mexican restaurants. Possibly the Saturday staff isnt the A team. I will try the El Asador during the week.

Great place, good food and very fast. They have a couple decent cremosas or sauces, and all the tacos were good. No disappointment at all, but I wouldn't say they were anything fantastic.Portions are large. They are street tacos, but just a tad bigger than normal making just 3 tacos a pretty good meal. Well priced.Carne selection was limited. I tried the Pastor, Asada and Campechanos. Pastor and Campechanos were both good. The asada was surprisingly basic. Good. But no wow to them. If their pork selection was a bit bigger it would make up for their asada. The tortillas were a touch dry, lots of salsa was important. Good atmosphere, though busy enough that you might not find a seat there when it's busy. Plenty of parking though. All in all it's a great spot to try out.

Great food, good amount for the money! Fantastic, friendly service. It's a food truck set up w pictic tabels outside to sit at under cover.I ordered the beed quasadia, and it was $17.00 as it was stuffed full, very filling. I took half of it home to finish in the evening and ordered an extra one for him. He loved it as much as I did. Will definitely drop in whenever I'm in the area.Parking: Well, it was busy that day, so the parking was full. We parked at the McDonalds next door. The vehicle was visible. In Ohio, the tow if you park in their lot, so not idvisable. They may not here in Florida, so we didn't have any troubles at all. I you have the opportunity definately worth it for a mexican meal.
