Read reviews and decided to give it a try. Food got 4 stars bc they were out of corned beef for 2 of the sandwiches we ordered, and they failed to tell us before ordering. Hubs pd for a fatboi(suppose to be more meat) but his sandwich was same size as mine. Hubs had asked what difference was between husky and fatboi, one lady told him serving size, but I didn't hear what he asked, the cashier got upset bc I asked again what difference was when she asked which I wanted. Our sandwiches were good, had #3 for our daughters, and those were perfect! I got a Reuben, but wasn't perfect bc they were out of corned beef, but it was still good.

We were not sure where to go for lunch, so I asked Alexa. Fatboiz was the first recommendation. We had never heard of it, but it was 5 minutes away, so we decided to try it out.They did not disappoint!!Everyone (customers included) was super friendly and welcoming. We tried two different sandwiches, potato salad, and a slice of red velvet. Holy cow. Each bite was better than the last. Our toddlers enjoyed it as well. (Shout out for having CLEAN high chairs).My husband and I have lived in Pensacola for over 5 years now, and this is hands down the best experience we have had. Very generous amount of meat, perfectly sliced with thoughtfully chosen toppings & condiments that took the sandwiches to the next level. I had the Beefed Up, spouse had pulled chicken. We argued over which was better but decided both were excellent. Look forward to trying others. The sandwiches are meticulously prepared (this ain't no fast food chain sub shop) & take a little time to prepare but once you taste them, you won't care. Service very friendly. Place clean. Can't wait to go back.

So, Fridays are the days my Wife and I get together for lunch and today, it was “Fat Boiz Sandwich Shop” on N. Pace!!Walking in, it’s very clean and inviting. We sat at the bar/counter and the Menu is actually not very big, I think a total of 9 sandwiches.After looking over the menu, my wife got the Hawaiian Fatboi and I got the Beefed Up Husky with a side of corn salad and potato salad(the corn salad is made in house and absolutely delicious!)!As for the Sandwiches, with them being made on Hawaiian Bread and toasted these sandwiches were perfectly made with the perfect balance of ingredients.My wife never had pineapple on her sandwich and she does not usually eat sandwiches with nothing more than meat, cheese mayo and mustard, but she thought that was one of the main reasons she liked this sandwich so much.The Beefed up is a combination of roast beef and corned beef, two different cooks and flavors that come together to melt into one of the best tasting sandwiches you could ask for.The ONLY reason they got 4 stars for the food was because of the cake, it was a little dry, but the icing was on point with flavor and in Fat Boiz defense, these are made locally and sold through the restaurant.We really enjoyed the conversation with the employees, they all made the experience very enjoyable!We highly recommend this location and highly suggest the local community to support a great locally owned business, like this!!We will definitely be back for more!THANK YOU FAT BOIZ FOR THE GREAT LINCH!!
