The fish was the best I've had in this town. At least 1.5 in thick and flaky white meat. Truffle fries and salad on the side with a glass of wine made it even better. I've eaten at nearly every restaurant in town, and this is the best.
Appetizer was great, some kind of artichoke dish. Dessert was great the tuxedo cake. Meal was not very flavorful. Had the catch of the day. It was a special occasion and I wanted my boyfriend to experience what I did when I went. He did not. Service was good, not over the top. We spilled a glass of water & no one came to help even though several employee were nearby. I was disappointed.
Very nice meal. Everything served was fresh and interesting, with lovely plating. Delicious (and properly sliced!) carpaccio appetizer. If you live in or are visiting the Pensacola, FL area, worth a visit. Thanks also to Hannah our server for a great experience!
The waitress was excellent, food came out timely and we never had to ask for refills, she always ahead of the game! The restaurant was full and you'd have never known it by the service.
All it takes is one visit to George's and you will want to make it a habit. George's has an outstanding wait staff who will tell you in great detail about the specials. Also they learn who you are and what you like pretty quickly. And it's not just one person, the entire wait staff wants to help however they can. Don't take my word for it, visit yourself and enjoy.
Georges never disappoints. The filet was wonderful and cooked perfectly. The scallops were wonderful and the ravioli and short ribs was delicious. Perfect place for a special dinner or anytime. Highly recommend.
awesome, amazing place, must visiting
The pure quality in their food and service is impeccable! The knowledge that the servers have about every dish is enlightening! They plate each dish so beautifully you will want to take a photo, the cocktails are so refreshing and paired vibrantly. Do yourself a favor and visit George Bistro!
Being a regular. Decided to try the sunday brunch. Unfortunately it was a little disappointing w mediocre service and underwhelming food. The brunch burger was ordered medium but was more charred on the outside and rare on the inside. Though service was average to below average i cant lay too much blame on the server but staffing choices having her managing tables inside and outside (we sat outside).

Oh my! Where do I begin? I didn't look around at the atmosphere too much, I came for the food. I heard about this place time and time again but never went until today. I met a friend for lunch here at her request.
This bistro has an impeccable and very distinct menu you won't find any place else. George's Bistro just switched over to their Fall menu. I had their wonderful Sweet Potato Bisque that I could have eaten a gallon of. It's lightly sweet, creamy taste of sweet potato, slight taste of jalapeno (no spice), with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar on top. It was a lovely presentation.
For lunch, I had the Harvest salad. The menu said it came with garganzola cheese but I subbed for goat cheese instead. It had small cubes of roasted butternut squash, candied pecans, dried cranberries, spinach, pumpkin seeds, and other yummy ingredients. The maple cider balsamic on top tied everything together and made for a very mouth watering salad.
My friend had the Beef Carpaccio which had thin sliced filet mignon, cherry tomatoes, shaved parmesan, arugula, and some other fine ingredients topped off with balsamic. It's served with what looked like to be homemade (not sure) bread and toasted. I was lucky enough she shared some with me. It was also excellent!
I'll definitely be back. It's worth checking out.

Prententious as it is expensive and loud. Yes the surroundings are very nice and that takes investment but spending more than $50 for breakfast and walking out the door still hungry told us there was no reason to ever again immerse ourselves into the George Bistro "experience "
