“We tried pizzalute for the 1st time tonight. Wow! It was amazing! We started with Ceasars salad with its fresh grated parm and home made dressing. Lovely! Moved on to the faccacia, light crust, beautiful cheese...heavenly. then the main course two gorgeous pizzas, from the thin crust to the stretchy cheese and beautiful leopard spots on the crust from the 900 degree oven, these pizzas were delicious and just what was needed!! Thank you to the amazing staff that stayed open so we could make it in...truly appreciated! “Just got back from Mellow Mushroom in Pensacola, and it was one of those easy, happy meals that reminds you why you keep coming back.

First off, Maddy was the real highlight. She greeted us with a kind smile and this upbeat, genuinely welcoming attitude that instantly set the tone. She was attentive without hovering, conversational in a way that felt natural, and she checked on us at all the right times. The whole experience felt smooth and friendly because of her.

Food-wise, Mellow did what Mellow does best: delivered the classics flawlessly. The pizza was hot, flavorful, and exactly as expected (in the best way). The Greek salad was crisp and fresh with that tangy, satisfying bite. And the pretzel bites? Always spot on, warm, soft, perfectly salted, and impossible not to keep grabbing.

“I will say that I have traveled Many times state side and abroad. Just happened to note the name Cactus Flower- California style.. I'm a native Texan and I know Mexican.. This beats anything I've had in Florida.. almost as good as Dallas.. I highly recommend this. Staff was busy with lunch and attentive.. service was swift, prompt and efficient. I highly recommend this fair for the wholesome food lover in you. My complements to the owners, chef, staff.. my bill was 14.02 I left a 20. Treat the server in your life well.. “Arrived on a Sunday after 2:00, the staff was just getting a break from a busy brunch crowd —trying to clear tables and mop the floors. We were still greeted by smiles, even the chef came out and smiled. We thought the food might not be great after such a busy morning; however, my mocktail was delicious. The spinach dip and chips were hot and came out quickly. We ordered fish tacos/blackened shrimp tacos which were perfectly seasoned.
Less busy than comparable restaurants so a much nicer experience for us all around.“
