I ALWAYS dine here when I’m in Pensacola! The food is delicious (pull pork sandwich is my favorite) and the folks there are super friendly! I tried the lemon pie this trip and fell in love! It’s my “go-to” dessert now!

Petes sake. Disappointing pork bbq sandwich. And a bottle of soda? Crazy expensive for this.

I decided to try this BBQ spot based on the high reviews, but my experience was quite different. The brisket was perfectly cooked with great texture, but it was way too salty. The sausage was delicious and cooked perfectly—definitely the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, the ribs were tough and dry for something that was supposed to be smoked; they tasted like old ribs.

Overall, I was disappointed considering how highly rated this place is on Google. My opinion comes from trying BBQ all over the country, and in my experience, this one didn’t live up to the hype. Also, the prices were way too high for the quality and portions served.

The lady who took my order was very helpful and sweet, order was prepared quickly and the place was cute; however, the food, portions and cost were nothing great. For $23 we got brisket, chicken and twice baked potato. No drink, just food.
The brisket was very fatty, very dry and had an unusual flavor- and not in a good way. The meat didn't taste smoky or BBQ, The chicken was tender and moist but the flavor reminded me of a Sam's club rotisserie chicken.
The twice baked just seemed like a regular baked potato with cheese and a lot of pepper.
Our other order for $20 was a sausage, pulled pork and Mac & cheese. Those items tasted good, but nothing amazing.
For $20 it was a small side without even a roll or bread to put the pork on.
In my opinion they weren't the best BBQ. Sorry guys, I just wasn't impressed enough to go back.

Simple presentation. Good food, great service, freezing cold vent. (It's was 86 outside) Down home atmosphere with smaller serving but excellent food.

Food was excellent. The service was great and the people kept the place extremely clean. The 90 two-year-old man working there everyday. To pack cookies amazing.

This is real southern bbq, place is solid all around, foods cooked perfectly... smoked meats and sides are fanastic. Probably best BBQ in area, real solid! Smoker is going outside, building is cute and built out for BBQ, serve beer too!

This was our first visit. I had the lean brisket burnt ends, my friends had the ribs. Both were wonderful! The burnt ends were tender and the ribs were moist and tender as well—Perfection! Cheyenne, our server was kind, very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. I wish I could give 10 stars. We were told the BBQ is no# 1 in Florida and no# 9 in the nation. I do not doubt it! Also, the ladies’ restroom was very clean.
