I just had the BBQ Chicken Dinner, with BBQ beans, Potato Salad and Cabbage...plus Banana Pudding to boot! I have never EVER had anything as good as this! Do yourself a favor and order, you WILL NOT be disappointed and will Thank me profusely!!! I absolutely LOVE this place!!!

I Google, a soul food restaurant in Pensacola, Florida, Houston Spice One was the first thing that came up the first review I seen they talked about the baked beans and the woman said that she had never ate bake beans that good in her life.. life. So I went there. First when I tell you, the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. You would have thought that. I knew these people for years. Never met them a day in my life. Very, very respectable, so generous. I love catfish. So I got catfish Mac and cheese and bake beans, of course, then I looked over and I seen collard greens. I just wanted a little side. She says mama don't even worry about it. I got you. She gave me a container of collard greens. When I tell you this food is to die for everything I ate was so good and I always talk about my sister's Mac and cheese cause I've never met anybody. That could topper her..Houston One Spice. I make the best Mac and cheese but this place gave me some competition! The fish was great the wings were so good too better than Buffalo Wild Wings and wingstop. The yams were great everything I had was fantastic!

What a great food truck lunch! The mac and cheese and grean beans were delicious and very generously portioned. I also gobbled up a free sample of fried fish and sweet potatoes and they were wonderful as well. I love the location on Jackson and A - easy parking and fast friendly service.
