The chicken katsu was cooked to absolute perfection—crispy, golden, and full of flavor. The macaroni salad was just as excellent, creamy and delicious. Service was phenomenal; we were greeted with a warm smile and genuine patience that made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service! The portion was absolutely too much to eat in one sitting
The food was very average with no extra flavoring. The girl in charge was very nice and accommodated me by turning down the loud radio and the kitchen, while the other radio station in the dining area continue to play more traditional hawaiian music. The dining area is very bland and very dirty. For the price of the food, you would think you would get better. Then plastic wear and paper plate style dining. We drove up from Bayou Chico on a Friday night roll of the dice to try Hula, and boy were we not disappointed! Going to have to figure out how to work this into our rotation for sure!
The beef was incredible (you won’t want to share), their house made dumpling sauce was so fabulous. The service too was friendly and kind, I’m sorry I didn’t get the lady’s name that was working the counter when we came in. Thankful that they are around!
