Hunan Wok serves some of the best Chinese food on the west side, offering fresh and delicious dishes like shrimp toast. This order-and-pickup store has a few tables for eating in, but most customers take their food to go. It has become a popular take-out spot for Chinese food with plenty of options on the menu. Prices are reasonable, and the food is consistently good, although communication can be a challenge due to language barriers. Customers particularly enjoy the General's Chicken, often recommending to try it “extra spicy” for an enhanced flavor. While the location may not be much to look at and can be crowded at times, many return to Hunan Wok after trying other closer places, as the food remains their favorite.
