Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

A while back, my partner came in to pick up a DoorDash delivery, and the young man at the counter said it would be another 5 minutes...4 times. He waited 20 minutes, trying to be kind, but ultimately unassigned from the order. We both went in there recently for a double order, and one of the orders hadn't even come through yet, and wasn't in the oven. When inquiring about the estimated time, the older gentlemen behind the counter became defensive, saying that every pizza place that time of night would be like this. However, we dash almost every night and no other pizza place has ever made us wait this long, including OTHER Hungry Howies locations, even if it was busy or busier than they were that night. I absolutely love the pizza here, so I'm sad to say the service has left us disappointed more than once.

Firstly: ordering online doesn’t tell you that “regular” Howie bread means only an 8 piece. Secondly: we got the howie bread and it looks like garbage and smells weird. It wasn’t fluffy at all and was paper thin. Our pizza, we ordered extra sauce. Funnily enough you couldn’t even SEE the sauce on there when picking up the pizza so there’s no way I am paying for extra sauce just to have the smallest amount known to mankind. The pizza was also SUPER thin despite me not ordering thin crust and there was too much crust. To say I’m disappointed or not a fan is a gross understatement. They didn’t give usual pizza sauce cups either they did more perishable sauce they use for putting on the pizza. Horrible. Returned it and my husband and I are taking our business to Little Caesar’s. Save yourself the time and the money, go elsewhere.

Pizza was ok.. ordered a thin crust.. I tried to change pick up time but apparently it didn't matter they had it done 10 min after call in😒

I ordered a Detroit style pizza with extra cheese,pepperoni, ham and mushrooms. Needless to say, not cheesy and out of a half a pizza, I might have eaten 1 very small piece of pepperoni, 1 piece of mushroom and no ham whatsoever.

The first paycheck job I ever had was at a HH in Michigan, I was 15,now 53. I won't be back $25 for bread and sauce smh.

Been over 20 years since ate here and it was just as good as I remember. Sure it's quick and easy but for a young Airman, you can't beat the price and taste.

Amazing pizza. One of the best we have ever had. The crust was amazing and they put tons of topping on the pizza.
