A great place to come after church for lunch. I love the Terikaky Chicken Bento Box.

I was wrong in leaving a harshly-worded review, which I’ve since deleted in favor of writing this one. Me and the owner of this establishment do have disagreements with each other, but this time, I won’t let that affect the tone or wording of my review.

The food here is amazing. Four stars out of five. The vast majority of everything sold here is made in-house and made from scratch and tastes AMAZING when it’s done well, which it usually is. The owner’s personal teriyaki sauce and I Heart Sauce recipes truly carry the entire restaurant.

It’s not all perfect though. It’s understandable that an establishment can get orders wrong sometimes. But in my experience, it was too often. Due to my last experience there, where they got my order wrong and refused to do anything about it because I already paid, I can no longer order there because I no longer want to put up with more poor and inconsistent service. Despite me having a usual, it isn’t a rare thing that they get it wrong, or give me an inconsistent amount of food, and I just don’t wanna put up with that anymore. Which is sad because I love their food and they could be offering much better service.

A cute restaurant serving bento boxes, poke bowls, sushi, and more!🍱🍣

I’ve been wanting to try I Heart Bento for so long and am happy that I made my way over there this past weekend!

Atmosphere: The space is clean and surprisingly spacious with table and booth seating.
Service: The service was all right. I ordered a to-go order, so I just needed to place it at the register.
Menu items: I got their Teriyaki Chicken Poke Bowl and Popcorn Chicken starter! I loved both; the poke bowl was a decent size (ended up having leftovers), and I love crispy chicken starters to add some extra protein to my meals. The whole meal was a mix of healthy and comfort foods!

I’ll definitely be back to try more menu items and maybe even have a sit down dining experience!

This is one of the most underrated spot for Vegans. The golden tofu nuggets and veggie spring rolls are top notch. My girlfriend is non Vegan and she can eat the Shrimp Bento Box multiple times a week.

This whole experience was just bad from start to finish. The customer service sucked—no greeting, no acknowledgment, just handed me the food and kept it pushing. They crammed everything into one flimsy bag, and the sauces were spilling everywhere by the time I got home. The food itself was a disaster. Everything was over-salted, sloppy, and thrown together like they didn’t care at all. The chicken was hard and dry, the rice was overcooked and soaked in sauce, the macaroni tasted old, and the salad was nothing but wilted lettuce with way too much dressing. The cucumbers weren’t even pickled or seasoned—just plain, regular cut cucumbers tossed in there. They forgot the oranges that were supposed to come with it, and instead of serving it in a proper bento box, they just shoved it all into a cheap foam container. Definitely not worth the money or the headache.

This is my favorite restaurant in Pensacola! I recommend to everyone. The chef that is there every day (maybe owner?) is very very pleasant and every cashier has been great. The games are fun to play and the restaurant is very clean! I have never had a bad experience.

My bf and I had a great time for our first night there and it was his birthday. Didn’t tell the staff that but they all treated us like they knew! The bento boxes are awesome. You get a lot of food for the price, under $15 each! We love the anime themed drinks and music. Coming back here with friends soon! It is also LGBTQ+ friendly, super plus!
