I really hate to write this seeing as IHOP was once my favorite breakfast place, however, my family and I decided to get breakfast this morning and we didnt have a very good experience. Not only were we not greeted upon arrival, we had to ask to be added to their wait list. Originally we were told we would have a 10 minute wait, which would have been fine, but 10 minutes turned into twenty, then thirty, and at the hour mark we decided to leave. There were many open tables, and many people ended up leaving. Even some of the people were seated. They left due to not recieving their food. Not one employee decided it was worth their time to tell us why we were still waiting after the hour we did sit there. We will not be going back, their service has plummeted since they have hired employees from the now closed Denny's. I really do understand being short staffed, however, what we put up with was just simply unacceptable.

Came to IHOP for pancakes, left with a new life goal: be as put together as this team.
Kayla was our server and she deserves a raise immediately. She had refills appearing before we even realized we were thirsty. I’m convinced she can read minds. Super sweet, quick, and made us feel like VIPs at a pancake palace.
And Michael in the kitchen? Give that man a cape. The food came out so fast and so good I almost thought it was staged. Pancakes fluffy, eggs perfect, everything hot and fresh. No mistakes— just greatness.
