The food here is excellent, and the Bushwacker is a must-try—so delicious you won’t want to stop at just one! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, and the location makes it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening dinner. Highly recommend!

Had burgers, fried shrimp, and crab legs between the group. Overall the food was good. The sides were undercooked though. Seems like they may be understaffed as one person was serving the entire restaurant. Very nice place to sit and enjoy the views though.

We really enjoyed the variety of food. They have seafood for us, burgers for my son, and chicken tenders for kiddos.

Be prepared to eat in the heat whether inside or out.
The food, however, is great! The service was good but could have been better.
We had the blue angel burger, Maui tacos, pulled pork sandwich, shrimp poboy, and boom boom shrimp. It was a lot of food and worth the price. We would definitely eat here again but might get it to go to eat at the vacation house in the ac.

This place was the perfect spot for lunch. Reasonably priced, on the beach, and great customer service. The blackened grouper sandwich is a must.

I hate to give this place a bad review because we’ve enjoyed it every other time we’ve been. However this time (11/1/24 6:30ish) really put us off. We sat outside among 3 other occupied tables inside had 3 tables as well all with food already. The server (young kid, curly dark hair) complete dismissed our presence. We sat waiting for what seemed to be about 30 plus minutes without him acknowledging us. I walked inside and asked if we could just put in our order. The kid replied “I will get to you when I have time and I have no time for you now”. Granted 3 tables had food. The other 3 tables outside had no food and he wasn’t tending to any of us at all. A couple walked inside sat down after all of us and he jumped at the opportunity to help them. This is 30 plus minutes after we sat down. My wife and I were frustrated at this point and just left as well as the two other tables next to us. This kid needs to be taught how to do his job properly and be efficient and effective So you guys don’t keep losing money like this and so your customers leave happy and full (not hungry and frustrated, like we did) I likely won’t be coming back as this really turned me off the whole establishment!

I got the Calamari with cocktail and ranch and it was hot and crispy! I tried the Hawaiian burger with no bun and it was amazing the burger was juicy and filling and my mom tried the fish tacos. The fish was crispy hot and great portions. I will definitely be back 😊
A lot of times, places by the beach aren’t the best… most are over priced and the food is mediocre. The islander food shack is NOT that. Food is great and tasted fresh! Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, 10/10. Highly recommend!

This was our second visit while in Perdido Bay for a couple of weeks. The fries and okra were fresh and phenomenal! The fried oysters from the other day were the best I have ever had! The white fish tacos had the best flavor! I recommend this mom and pop local place to everyone!!!
