I ordered the catfish platter but I did not get a catfish. I have been eating fried catfish for over 60 years and I know its texture and taste. I was served with another white meat fish. I was very disappointed. The service is excellent and atmosphere is outstanding.
I love the whole experience I work there As a young girl years and years ago and I Loved walking through the doors again after 40 years it is a staple of the town and it has the most delicious seafood it always has and the people there are amazing I would marry that place if I could LOL. When I found out Alan Davis seashell shop closed I cried for a week so I hope Joe Patty stays open till the end of time.
The place to go is you want good, fresh seafood. Always a crowd, always a good selection. yes, it can be expensive, but you dont get this quality for cheap. I get to Pensacola a couple times a year on business, and I make it a point to stock up on seafood here every time I do. I have even been known to make a special trip here, just to stock up.
