Grease tasted very rancid in all items of fried plate, loaded potato, for higher price, was ice cold, obviously sitting for hours, not worth the extra expense and tiny, cheese had hardened in n potato extra cost, butter would not even melt on potato, batter was super thick, okra grease so old it tasted rancid. Fish, shrimp, hush puppies very cold. We feel we wasted $13.00 plus and will NEVER try this chain again. HVAC worked, had 2 customers. We could not eat this plate we ordered! We trashed it in the garbage can!! Money down the drain!! Unfortunate!!
The order included two clusters with two red potatoes and a 7–8 inch corn cob. The Cajun seasoning was too salty and unevenly distributed. The clusters were fresh and had a great seafood flavor, not the “fridge taste” some places have.
Service was poor. I placed my order online and paid in-store, and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes, but it wasn’t prepared until after I paid. It would be much better if online payment ensured the food was ready without waiting.
The atmosphere was lacking. The restaurant was empty except for one couple, no music, and complete silence. You could clearly hear employees talking in the back

This is my second time ordering the large seafood platter from John’s Seafood, and just like the first time, the experience was fantastic. The platter was generously sized, and the portions were perfect for sharing or even enjoying over a couple of meals. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the shrimp to the crab and fish, and each item was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Even though it was takeout, the food arrived still piping hot, which really shows how much care they put into preparing and packaging it.
One of the things I love most about John’s Seafood is the consistency. Every time I order, the quality is outstanding, and it’s clear that they really care about their ingredients and presentation. It’s not just food—it’s a well-prepared, flavorful meal that makes you feel satisfied and appreciated as a customer.

What a cute place! We had come from the beach and were looking for a place with great seafood and a chill environment. This place did not disappoint. Everything was filled with flavor and hot. The hush puppies and catfish were a favorite and the boil had lots of flavor. I got the mix it all and I would recommend. The food also came out fast. Would go back again!
