I ordered the mango smoothie today and I kid you not, it’s the best mango smoothie I’ve ever had. Real fruit, real taste, perfectly sweetened, no extra sugar taste. 10/10

Unexpected Peruvian Delight in Pensacola 🇵🇪

I happened to stumble upon this Peruvian food truck by chance while visiting Pensacola and was instantly intrigued by the menu, so I decided to give it a try. It’s located in a plaza with several other food trucks, but unfortunately, this was the only one open at the time — which made the atmosphere a bit quiet. I believe the experience would be even better if all the trucks were operating.

I ordered the chicken empanadas — they were incredibly fresh, the filling was flavorful, and the crispy texture was just perfect. I also had the shrimp “fideo saltado,” which was absolutely delicious. The only downside was that it was a bit oily, but still, I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.

To top it off, the passion fruit smoothie was divine — super refreshing and flavorful. The two ladies who took care of me were incredibly kind and welcoming.

Hands down, this was my favorite food experience during my trip to Pensacola. Highly recommend! 💯

I’ve given them 3 chances all of them I feel like the portion went down. Quality of the seasoning went down. If your a white person that doesn’t like season food this place is for you

Fantastic place to get authentic food! Had some fried rice that was superb! Ask for some of the green hot sauce as I could put it on anything, it was delish!

A Disrespect to Peruvian Cuisine

I had high hopes walking into Jumping Lomo, but unfortunately, this place is nothing short of a joke especially if you’re familiar with real Peruvian food. As someone who knows and respects the culture, I was honestly shocked. This isn’t a fusion spot trying something new; it’s just poorly executed JOKE.

They served papa a la huancaína with French fries. Let that sink in. One of Peru’s most iconic appetizers turned into some bizarre, lazy side dish that felt more like fast food than tradition. It’s insulting to call that “Peruvian.” The flavors were off, the presentation was worse, and it clearly lacked even basic understanding of what the dish is supposed to be.

The service? Equally disappointing. Staff seemed disinterested, borderline rude, and completely unprofessional.

Overall, Jumping Lomo feels like a parody of Peruvian cuisine. If you’re looking for authentic food, or even a respectful adaptation of it, look elsewhere. This place is a sad reminder of what happens when culture is used as a gimmick instead of celebrated with care.

Tamales ( has a kick to it), smoothies and empanadas!! I LOVE THIS FOOD TRUCk. Is inside of roofed area with other food trucks, there is plenty of seating, just park on the street, is free for the most part.

Food came out fast and was hot and fresh! I got the Jumping Sandwich with mushroom and the watermelon smoothie. Ask for the hot sauce- it's delicious with a perfect kick! This is probably my favorite food truck in the Garden.

Food is good but most recently there was only one person working and I waited over 40 mins for my buzzer to ring. I simply would not have placed an order

Ordered the empanada, it does not taste authentic...more like Latino- Fusion.. watermelon smoothiesbwas good, a little pricey for the size, and it could have more fresh watermelon, but it was good. Plantain was also good. service ......seemed a little dismissive compared to the YT customers he did business with. We watched as we waited to order and after we received our order ..yeah ... Some conquistador fujery going on ...🤷🏿‍♂️....had to ask for extra sauce, napkins and a bag to carry, the bag was denied....

Food was good until I found hair and they would not refund me and wanted to make me a new one. Once I find hair, I throw up and won't eat again. It was long and black and I have blonde hair
