We have not been here in over a year. Restaurant in same building had closed with "For Sale"sign so we thought Kyoto's closed, too. So GLAD it didn'!! Great flavor with a LOT of food! Had the lunch Bento Box chicken teryaki. Next time: Shrimp tempura!

Everything is very fresh, service is fast, and we are particularly fond of the lunch bento boxes at a reasonable price. It's quick to get to, too, being down the highway from Corry Field Navy Base. I see they also have call in/pick up!
Hibachi is available daily after 4:30pm!

Not only will i be returning but I will definitely recommend. The food was fresh and the sushi in my humble opinion was the best I have had in Pensacola. The fried rice was on point in flavor and the meat (steak, shrimp, scallops) Habachi was perfectly cooked. From the appetizers to the main dish was all good actually. The servers are attentive and friendly and even on a busy day you see the hustle and kindness. So happy to find this place.

I have enjoyed the food here and my first couple of visits were nice. But this recent one on Valentine's Day was not as enjoyable. We first had to wait, which was understandable because it was busy. But tables and seats were available. Still, we remained nice and optimistic because we wanted to enjoy our date. The staff then changed their mind and sat us down at the originally available seats. Even after being seated, they made us move. Still, the entire time we remain nice, polite, and understanding. It took a couple of rounds of the waitress returning for me to request a drink I wanted and she did not check my ID to see if I was of age. The actual show was enjoyable and our cook was awesome. After eating, I showed my military ID and asked for the discount as I've done before, she returned the receipt after being paid and hardly gave a discount at all (this is unlike the previous time when it was the full discount). Still, we leave satisfied and wait out in the cold for our ride. It wasn't until I checked my card today that they REVERSED the discount and gave themselves the full amount, what I can only assume is tipping themselves. Overall, the waiting service was subpar & credit only goes to the cook. I would've returned but after seeing how they deal with customers' money I no longer trust their integrity.
Food and service are excellent! Anthony, the hibachi chef, is so much fun. Highly recommend

Ugh. The app lured me into writing this. Restaurant looked closed at lunch - lights out, but it was open. It did not smell appetizing inside. Cleaning fluid mixed with gross. Service was pretty good. Very limited menu for for lunch. I ordered the Chicken teriyaki bento bowl. It came with soup or salad. I ordered the chicken broth soup. Took two sips. It tasted like dirt. The salad looked to be a much better choice. The chicken teriyaki was really good. Serving size was small though. Nice helping of white rice, sautéed vegetables and two crab ragoons. Overall - it was ok.

I"ve been here many times and have always had good food. The service is just okay. The servers always seem too rushed to give better service but it's not horrible. The hibachi here is not the best I've had but it's pretty good; however, they do have excellent sushi and their iced tea is the best. It's a little on the pricey side...but what hibachi restaurants aren't? I would definitely recommend if you are on the west side of Pensacola and want good sushi.

Kyotos is my favorite place to go to treat myself on the rough days! Everyone here is so helpful and kind! Top tier service. The place is always clean. The coy pond out front is a nice added touch to add to the joy of the experience. I have yet to try the hibachi, but definitely have it on my list of things to try here. The sushi is incredibly delicious and fresh! And miso soup is a must have for me every time I go there. So grateful for Kyoto’s!
