Fantastic gem! Only place I’ve found REAL Gorditas, and they are GOOD! I think the rest of the menu is probably pretty solid, but the Gorditas are so good, that’s all I ever get.
Fantastic tacos. Decent carne selection. Grabbed an Adobada, Pastor, Carnitas and Campechanos. Each taco comes on one homemade tortilla that is a mix of corn and a touch of flour. Really good fresh off the grill.Favorite was the Pastor. Campechanos and Carnitas were close seconds with asada being the least exciting. Pastor was very flavorful and dripping deliciousness. The carnitas has some good chicharron pieces mixed in, chunky and good flavor. Campechanos is what I would get...
This is one of 2 best places for Authentic Mexican food. The carne asada tacos are spot on, a greatly missed main staple for me since leaving AZ. They speak mostly Spanish (which is refreshing). It is a food cart with an outdoor semi permanent covered picknick area. So, it is more of a picnic cook- out atmosphere, it is clean however if you're more accustomed to a bleach scrubbed enclosed restaurant? You maybe discourage. It would be your loss.Happy eating!
