Good o boy spot! It's just a watering hole. No energy. Nothing inviting enough to come back for. Didn't stay long enough to waste much time or money.

They don't serve food but the drinks from Kelly are always amazing! Karaoke on Tuesday and Wednesday with Brandy are a blast and free line dancing class on Thursday is a great time!

We went out to Moonshine last night. We had plans to listen to one of our favorite bands, enjoy some cocktails and have a snack. Unfortunately, they no longer serve food. :(
The Rosebud Ramblers band was incredible. The place was full but not packed. The atmosphere was fun. The audience danced and clapped and were incredibly festive. Very different from the tourist bars we normally go to. Had a great time and if it weren't such a long drive we would go there often.

This is all false advertising we went for Valentine's .. I Called ahead of time to see who was playing. I even You Tubed the band .They were horrible . Nothing Country about then. They played 1 song . This was around 9ish .. we walked in the place was it was dead .. the music was so loud and there was nothing Country about them ... they were from Al.this was suppose to be a big Valentine's treat you would think they woulld have at least had something red on or somewhere .. They guy from the Band came over to the Bar we told him we came there because on their website they advised as playing County Music and they sounded good on You Tube .. he said he would play us some Counry Music after their break .. .ha.. .. the Bartender was extremely rude asked the very rude , I had talked with her on the phone before went asked if she made Bushwackers , she said no but could make me a drink that would taste similar. Well then we get there and she says she can't just hurry up and order something . I advided her I don't like the taste of liquor , did she have any type of drink with chocolate, she said she could just give me the bottle of chocolate wow .. I finally got a Apple Martini I haven't has one in over 25 years . I was telling her I believe the last one I had was at Chilli , she was she rude said well I can't make one like them . I never asked her to... we waited for over an hour on the Band and discussed leaving .. she starting making me another drink she got the Apple Sour poured in.. she told me I need your glass back that's the only one we have, I'm saying to myself wouldn't that make it a dirty Martini lol... advised her I didn't want another another drink were leaving as soon as we asked when is the Band ever going to start back . She said oh they had to leave .. wow ..she said but you still have to take the drink I already made it. Ha noting in it . But it got paid for it was poured into a very small plastic cup that didn't even come to 1/4 , to the cup . I tossed it out.... there was absolutely no food whatsoever. Not even a bowl of popcorn nothing . They website shows all this food .. . So it cost extra money to go see this special. Band that was not special and didn't even play Jeez .. so no Music, no food , the staff was so rude the place was so dead . We won't ever be going back there again. That was all misleading, false advertising..
I will still report all of this a lot of money was spent to see a Band that left ....and false advertising on dinner
. And waited an hour she said oh they left .. The guy in the Band told us he would play some Counrty Music . Lol. They were from Al. The Bartender was very rude because I couldn't think of a drink similar to a Bushwacker. She sd just make up your mind . There was no one there. So I ordered a Apple Martini haven't had one in 20 yrs said I will try one . We'll we we're already discussing leaving if they didn't play Counrty Music . She went to make me another one and said I need your glass back we only have that one .. that would make it a dirty Martinti lol. I told her we were leaving no thank's she sad to late I've already made it. Which all she did was pour some Sour Apple out of the bottle.... she knew we were leaving ,never finished making it. So we had to pay for that . I just tossed it in the trash . It was a horrible place . Everyone there was so rude. There was a lot of money to get in to see a Band that wasn't even playing .and no food in sight. That's false advertising. I will be reporting them. Poor business...... I hope they get close down ...

If I swing by for some cold beers, can I bring a fishing pole to fish around the pond out back? Come back with a 5 star if yes 😉

My wife and I spent New Year's Eve at the Moonshine Saloon. Not very impressed. The bar tenders were friendly and fast but there was very little interaction among the rest of the attendees. It felt kind of cliquish. They have line dancing classes during the day and that seemed to be the dominant group there. We had the option to purchase their premium entry pass for $50 each which included an open bar, and we thought appetizers. But appetizers were a food truck out front that you could purchase food from and our open bar included six Tito's and Diet Coke (each) over a three hour period that left us feeling like we had only a couple. If we had six of those drinks at the Perdido Sports Bar, we would be on the floor. I "suspect" that they dialed back on the alcohol in drinks of people who had the open bar wrist ban. Just our suspicion and experience.

The Halloween party music was real good. But the way they did contest was not right.. I was told by many people I should have won
I had made most of my costume it takes 1hour an 45 min to put make up on
It was who you know I guess

I wish the dart boards had been working but other than that it’s a pretty cool little dive.
