Mr. Pollo in Pensacola is a hidden gem that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. I recently tried the 1/4 dark chicken, and it was nothing short of outstanding. The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with a smoky flavor that kept me coming back for more.

Itās very unfortunate, but this location has been going downhill the past year I been living here. It was my favorite restaurant to come to, but from the inconsistent Mac n cheese and chicken, to always forgetting something in my order whether itās delivery or takeout I just donāt see myself buying from here anymore. Iāll probably give the new location a try. You know itās bad when I came in for a new order and told them last time something wasnāt put in my platter, for them to leave out an item once again. Iām so happy I checked my plates before leaving.

If thereās one Latino spot I love, itās Mr. Pollo! The food is spectacular, the flavors are on point, and the service is exceptional! Thereās this bearded guy in the afternoons who definitely makes your visit more enjoyableāheās super attentive, polite, and honestly, really handsome! I recommend this place with my eyes closed!

I love this place. I canāt tell you how many times Iāve ordered it on door dashā¦itās a lot. I donāt mind the fees that come with that, itās kind of far from me but itās so, sooo worth it. Itās always delicious. Itās really our favorite place to get take out. So grateful for these folks and the wonderful food theyāre making. Mac n cheese is al dente (the way pasta should be), coleslaw is flavorful, plantains are soft and just sweet enough, yuca is cooked perfect and surprisingly travels well with take out, potato salad is also full of flavor- nothing is bland or overly salty. And the salsas add a good kick of flavor with the chicken, but itās just a bonus, because the chicken is great as is (donāt let the burnt look fool you, itās crisp and delicious) Donāt hesitate to try anything on the menu, theyāre consistent and never disappoint.
