New Yorker Deli & Pizzeria

I have always had very good food at New Yorker Deli but today's lunch was very disappointing. Chicken parmesan sandwich was not a good representation of chicken parmesan. Little chicken, mozzarella and merinera sauce. Will not order it again.

Ordered small pep and sausage pizza to go, picked up, got it home, open the box found pizza was burned and was unable to eat 50% of it. I do love New York Deli however I recommend you really take a close look at your pizza and if burned give it back. They are super nice and will make it right though you will be delayed waiting for new pizza…..

Great casual local spot for fresh deli style salads such as chicken, tuna or pasta. Lots of different styles and choices. The pizza is delicious as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at this little taste of Italian cuisine. The atmosphere was awesome, as well as the service. I sat inside and went to enjoy the outside shaded area. I met the manager and told him how much I enjoyed the fantastic tasting food. A definite must try if your in east Pensacola on Cervantes St.

I have lived around Pensacola all my life and today was my first time at New Yorker Deli. I will say I have missed out! The menu is filled with so many delicious choices. I love a good Muffalatta and they did not disappoint. Had a side of the Rockefeller pasta salad and it was great. So many pasta salads to choose from. We’ll be back!

45 minute drive. My dad was talking this place up for days. He hasn't been there in about a year though. I'm at the age where EVERYPLACE is hot. I'm comfy at 70-72. This place was freezing. We moved outside or my dad couldn't have eaten there. Tables were not cleaned off until a new group wanted to sit down. The people were friendly. I asked for my pizza lightly cooked. Literally just long enough for the crust to be done, not crispy at all. It was so dark I couldn't tell between the cheese, ground beef, or bacon. I know they are capable as I saw pics from previous diners that looked perfect. The sauce was good. Over an hour for our food to come out. Another couple with kids came out to a table while my dad was eating his soup - about 30 minutes after we'd ordered. Their order was taken immediately and served pretty quickly. They were mostly done with their food before ours came out. My dad said his soup tasted like canned. His stromboli was overcooked. Its pretty irritating waiting longer for your food to be overcooked. We didn't ask for it to be fixed as we were hungry when we got there, and I'm a diabetic. I'd have gone too low before they remade it. Take home boxes and the check came out while we were eating. No mention of desert. It's a shame. We won't be back. Oh, and they have like 5 spaces for folks picking up food. 1 Handicapped spot. Guess they're geared for younger folks.
