Walking up to this cool old house in Pensacola, I never imagined how this could be a "deli and pizzeria"! The place is charming and vintage on the inside and boasts one of the best menus I have found for lunch. I had the best Ruben sandwich ever (my favorite sandwich so I have eaten many during my 70+ years) and my husband has a hot Italian sausage hoagie that he couldn't stop eating to even breathe!! ;) Our server was on the ball, hustling between tables, answering our questions, sharing her suggestions and not once did anyone have to raise a hand to get her attention. Although a bit of a drive from Milton, we will gladly visit again and often! Can't go wrong with their extensive menu!!

Best place in Pensacola for sandwiches, pizza, and a great Greek salad. Super friendly and competent servers. Can get a little crowded at peak lunch hours.
New Yorker Deli has some delicious cold salads, specialty sandwiches, and desserts. It is located in an old home and is a longtime local haunt. Tennis groups, mailmen, businessmen and retirees all rub elbows at lunchtime. Dinnertime sees many enjoying pizza or the evening special with a beer or wine to accompany the meal. I have dined at this establishment for more than ten years. Sadly, the quality of service is slipping badly. Today I waited more than ten minutes to have my drink order taken, five more to receive it, and fifteen more to have my order taken. When my food was delivered, I had mere minutes left on my lunch hour. This kind of thing has happened more than just today. It makes me sad to see a good food spot so poorly managed.

"Hole in the wall" is a term of endearment for this fantastic little place that we have excitedly visited for 10+ years. We've tried many things but also go back to our favorite New York Special Calzone. Amazing!!!

Tried the pastrami and corn beef hot sandwich and cold slaw. Very busy at lunch but great service. Love that they have outside seating. Can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu.

The Best Pizza. Oh my goodness. It was worth the drive. We ordered pepperoni and sausage and a ham with pineapple they were so delicious. It was even better the next day for left overs. By far the Best Pizza we have had. This was a pepperoni with Italian sausage and it was delicious. We will be going back for more.
