First time coming to Nick’s Boathouse..first of all we opted to eat outside and was greeted by a big furry cat ( my husband is allergic to cats. So we came inside to eat., the server was nice but scattered brain and kept forgetting to get us things.. then I ordered an appetizer.. it was delicious until the meal came out and both of our fish dishes was very DRY!! I could see it when the server bought it to our table. And over $100 for some DRY fish.. I can cook fish better than that and not pay that price! Very disappointed and will NOT be back! It only takes one time for us.. we tried it.. too bad because it’s close.

Had a great experience at Nick's Boathouse. The food was excellent, the atmosphere and views were amazing, and our waitress, Brooke, absolutely made our dining experience perfect. She was so personable and engaging with us. Would highly recommend and ask for Brooke!

Was sat at a table by host. 15 minutes later still waiting for someone to just say hello let alone ask us if we wanted a drink so we left. It was not busy and apparently there wasn't any concern or ugency to wait on us. If someone had just come by and acknowledged us and said I be with as soon as I can that would have been better, but we got nothing.

Had a great lunch on the patio, so awesome after all the cold weather. Triple extra points for wheelchair accessibility and the helpful staff.

Thank you, Nick's Boathouse, for making our daughters Sweet 16th birthday such a wonderful celebration! Y'all accommodated our every request, from holding the cake in the fridge, preparing her special requested 16oz ribeye birthday steak, to presenting her cake with lit candles... The evening/night was perfect! The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. Our waitress Alex COULD NOT have been more gracious and attentive! She is a treasure! All of our meals were spot on! From the crab cake sliders and gumbo, to the stuffed flounder and seafood platter! OUTSTANDING! We cannot thank Y'all enough for making our daughter's special day so much more.
Third time here and it just keeps getting better. Best fish sandwich on gulf and the dirty rice was amazing. Cocktail menu impressive and view. Alex the waitress was witty. Very nice gal. Will be back. Live in fokey worth one hour drive for just lunch.

Server put in incomplete order. Cook did not redo. Just sent crabmeat out. Lacked hollandaise sauce in Eggs
Benedict. They serve preordered cocktail sauce from a company. Did not offer items to make your own or check on you after served.

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn’t crowded—which initially seemed like a good thing. Unfortunately, now I understand why.
The food was very disappointing. I ordered the crab and shrimp dip, which was completely unseasoned and tasted overly fishy. My main course was just as bad. The fries were fried far too hard, and the coating on the scallops was falling off, as if a step was missed in the preparation process. The coleslaw was bland and tasted like nothing at all. The fish and shrimp were also poorly prepared and lacked flavor.
Service was equally disappointing. The waiter did not check back to see if we needed anything, there were no drink refills, and even after I asked, the refill was forgotten. I also requested a printed receipt, which was never brought to the table.
Overall, this was a very bad experience, especially considering I spent $56.00. In hindsight, we should have kept driving when we saw the empty parking lot and gone to The Oar House instead. The only positive parts of the visit were the tortilla chips.
Did we catch you on a bad day, or is this the normal standard? Based on this visit, it did not seem like much care was taken in seasoning or service.

I ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo add shrimp. Nasty no flavor no seasoning. I would not recommend this place. My personal opinion! Everything did look good.
