Nippon Sushi

Ordered DoorDash and the food was absolutely horrible. The food was inedible and they do not care what you put in the special request section. If you’re not going to follow it then why allow it? I wouldn’t have ordered then as my family have severe allergies. Threw away the entire order, I was the only one who could eat it and it was nasty, couldn’t even eat after a few bites. Spent so much and wasted it all..

This is easily my favorite casual sushi place in town. I love the staff and the food. Please, please bring back the exclusive Japanese pop music, pleaseeee.

Kids got ramen bowls and I got a bento box. I don't know if I read the menu wrong or what but didn't realize what I was getting wasn't what I thought but it was one of the better sushi rolls I've had. Kids absolutely loved their bowls. Service was average, and even being in the mall still felt intimate.

This used to be my favorite place in Cordova Mall to visit and order from. My most recent visit, however, resulted in an awkward conversation with a staff member about menu changes, but the food was still pretty good.

However, I ordered from them on UberEats last night. I ordered three things: a boba smoothie, beef udon, and a philadelphia roll.
- The boba was good, though I accidentally listed a flavor combination no longer available (they simply used the flavor they still had).
- The beef udon broth was spicy when I did not ask for the optional spice additive, and the beef tasted vaguely of sanitary products (almost like baby powder).
- The philadelphia roll didn't even come with the meal.

This is not the first time I've had order errors upon trying to purchase delivery from them, but this is by far the worst of it. I spent nearly sixty dollars only to be disappointed with the entire meal. Maybe I might stop by if I'm ever in the mall, but I will not be ordering delivery from Nippon again.

DISGUSTING. Literally the most disgusting food ever.
Please don’t come here the meat tastes like literal dog food and everything’s extremely low quality. We spit out our food, paid our bill, and left.

Recommended dishes: Tan Tan Men Ramen

We both had the pork ramen, with high expectations! We really wanted to like this place but it was a hard no upon tasting. We were looking for umami broth, that packs a punch when you eat it, salty and savory that gives you a hug but this missed entirely and was quite the opposite. Flavorless, and I had a glob of chili oil that basically overtook the entire dish, the pork belly in the dish had 1/2 fat that wasn’t too edible. The egg was HARD BOILED, that had been sitting in a fridge, cut in half and thrown into the broth. This was very sad and disappointing as when I eat ramen, particularly, look for the Ajitsuke Tamago - the delicious soft boiled egg that’s gingery, jammy and salty.

So we ordered some sushi also, nothing fancy, just the crunchy shrimp roll. We were again disappointed when the flavor was nothing but the fried bits on top and the eel sauce. I know, I know, this is a mall restaurant, but I do feel as though they should pay some homage to the food they are serving.

The food is always delicious, go to spot for Ramen & love the sushi! Also their Boba tea is consistently good when I try other places it is hit or miss but always yummy here! Definitely worth the try

Walked in on a whim, had some good food with great staff. Calamari was awesome and is a great choice for salty sweat.
