This is a great place! Prices are a little high but the food is absolutely fantastic! I recommend the Snapper stuffed with Crab and Shrimp. It is the best dish I have ever tried. My son had Coconut Shrimp and said it was great. My mother had a steak and it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend The Oyster Bar and Marina!

It's not a fancy place. More of a family restaurant. Unassuming. But our server, Mamma T, was delightful. She was genuinely concerned that we liked our meals and removed the charge for one entree we weren't crazy about. The food was good and the 8 of us rated our meals between 7 and 9. But we all gave Mamma T a 10. Ask for her.

This was our first and only visit to Oyster Bar. We ordered the smoked tuna dip for the appetizer. It was okay and unfortunately the star of the night. My husband ordered Mahi Mahi blackened with a side salad and fried okra. I had the yellow fin Ahi Tuna seared with a side salad and fried okra. The salad was sad, a few greens with two slices of cucumber, two rings of onion, 2 grape tomatoes sliced in half for a $3 upcharge for each salad!! The Mahi was so dry my husband couldn't eat it and sent it back! I had the tuna and it was mediocre at best. There was no seasoning on the okra but at least it wasn't greasy. We both had water to drink and our bill was $77 with tax and tip!!! The waitress never came back to give us a refill on our drinks once she delivered our dinner. We didn't notice until later that she also over charged us on the upgraded sides, we were charged $6 each! This was a Wednesday night in September, so they were not busy. We will NOT be returning to this restaurant ever. Please save your time and money and go to The Original Oyster House or Tin Top Restaurant.

My wife and I returned to Oyster House last evening after several years of mostly eating out in OB and GS. We hoped to sit at the bar or outside, but neither was available; a small frustration, but understandable. Once seated we ran into a bigger surprise: they were out of all fresh fish (no snapper, grouper, or cobia) — disappointing for a seafood restaurant.

The bright spot was our server, Melissa. She was exceptional: attentive, professional, and prompt! Her service made the evening pleasant despite the lack of daily seafood specials on the menu.

We started with fried calamari (not our usual choice, but well prepared). I had the Cajun pasta with shrimp and my wife ordered the Hawaiian shrimp — both dishes were very good. Portions and presentation were solid, though the lack of the restaurant’s usual fresh-fish options noticeably lowered the overall experience.

Pricing is reasonable but not a bargain; it’s comparable to other top local spots like Cobalt and Zeke’s.

In short: outstanding service, good food, but a disappointing lack of seafood choices on the night we visited. We’ll return, hoping the menu is fully stocked next time.

This is a restaurants where children can’t be seen or heard. Our little girl was quietly walking around the outside area where we were seated, being supervised by an adult who was within arms reach the entire time. The manager came outside, where there were only two other tables, and told us she had to sit down. Keep in mind she wasn’t running, making noise or unsupervised. Needless to say we asked for check and left. Luckily, the Sunset Grill was glad to have us.

We went to the Oyster Bar by water and what a good experience! Plenty of space for docking, great view, delicious food and our server, Abigail, was excellent! We will be back.
