I make it a point to head over to Pensacola for half a day every year when I'm in the FL panhandle. And, Charles is easily one of the best servers I've ever met. I was glad to see him still working there a year later! Hope to see him in 2026!

We ordered the shrimp dinner ,fried mushrooms ,2 piece catfish dinner, macaroni ,mash potatoes, and red beans rice with biscuit and cornbread. My catfish had a fresh water taste so I didn't like it. The red beans and rice was dry and the macaroni tasted like it was out of the bag. The food was freshly prepared but the seasoning was lacking. Customer service was great. The manager asked if I wanted to order something else so I requested a fried chicken sandwich just to be disappointed again because it wasn't fried it was grilled but actually looked and tasted uncooked so I trashed the entire order. The mushrooms were good and the cornbread.
Food was excellent, no wait for seating, wait staff was excellent.
